I chose a fun multi-color and while this is a versatile travel bag, I use mine everyday for work! Yep, that's right... I do! It has plenty of room for extras as well as lunch or throwing in extras (sweater, vest, etc.) along w/ my work laptop (padded section inside) along with extras for work (when working on the go). I use the pouch for office supplies to keep w/ me on the go. At times, I travel for work and it's nice to have everything with me. Love this bag! I do in-home early intervention education for families so it’s a lot of traveling around. I had been using a backpack but things kept disappearing into the bottom of the bag so when I saw this style it looked like it was exactly what I needed. I tried a similar style with another brand but it was too small and frankly wasn’t impressed with the quality—I returned that one and started hunting for something similar. So when I happened upon this bag I decided to give it a try. I’m glad I did. I got the large size this time. Excellent quality, material was thick and durable, it came with bottom insert, and tons of pockets!!!! The water resistance features is nice was well—I live in a rainy climate. Plus the little clutch makes a perfect on the go purse. The shoulder strap is thick/wide. Plus I sew so I can tell the seams are well done. My only complaint is that I wish the strap hooks/latches for the shoulder strap were metal and not plastic (plastic breaks a lot easier than metal)—but they do seem pretty sturdy despite being plastic. I ordered the large size. I work hybrid and needed something large enough to hold everything for work in one bag instead of three (laptop, lunch bag, purse, odds and ends etc.). Pretty sure I have looked at every moderate priced bag on Amazon and finally decided on this one for it's size capacity and pretty design. (I needed something wider in depth than most bags provide.) It's an extremely sturdy bag for the money. It's a thinner coated canvas type material so I was hesitant upon opening the package but it is well made and held all my stuff with no problems. The large adjustable strap is comfortable on the shoulder. The black with pink flowers is very pretty. A few minor cons: The measurements are slightly off when I measure it opened out: 16w x 13h x 7d. Not enough to be a deal breaker so decided to keep it. The other downside is the laptop compartment isn't padded on the outer side. If you are clumsy or commute via public transportation you may want to get a separate protector. My 13" laptop fits fine and I'm just going from car to inside office so should be fine. The outer pockets are a bit odd. I can fit my keys and phone for easy grabbing but not sure what else to do with the rest. I would have preferred a more secure zipper pocket on outside than 6 awkward pockets each side. Overall pleased with this bag and happy to only carry one now. Recommend depending on your needs. I tried adding pics but app keeps shutting down upon upload :( Read more
Bought this bag specifically to carry around baby and toddler toys when we’re out and the kids need to sit on the floor and play for a while. I’d been using an old Thirty-One large utility tote for this purpose (which to its credit has held up excellently for over a decade), but it was too hard to keep organized. I like that different toys can have different pocket either inside or outside the bag that will be easy for the toddler to clean up without dumping everything into the middle of bag. But I do like that there’s a roomy section in the middle where I can put larger toy containers. It’s also great that it has a zipper, both so that toys don’t fall out when it inevitably gets turned over and so that it’s less distracting for said toddler to have eyes on all the toys at once. I also love that it has a detachable cross-body strap making it easy to get from the car to wherever we are going and still having my hands free for kids/strollers. This is exactly the bag I was looking for and I hope it holds up well over time. Read more
The color is spot on and the size is big. I can fit lots of books and my laptop in this bag. The material is like canvas so it’s nice and sturdy. The adjustable strap is long enough to carry the bag by my side. The smaller bag is perfect for pens and pencils. Read more
