I have wanted to explore the singing bowls for a while. I go to sleep almost every time listening to them play - I find them incredibly relaxing. I was a bit afraid that when I got them, I'd put them up and they'd get broken by a kitty, so I was quite relieved when I saw the cases they came in. The cases are very nice with a fitted form that the bowls sit in, and they are well padded. I took to the bowls right off and was able to have them singing LOUD AND CLEAR within fifteen minutes, and with a bit more practice, 2 hours later I was able to control the volume so that I felt I was getting the benefit and yet controlling the sound so it was more comfortable. I think if you can keep a steady hand at all, you can probably play these. They come with a suede wrapped ceramic or quartz? stick that is hollow. I find that it only takes a light tap and just let your hand follow the tone, then control the volume with speed. For me it was intuitive. My 23 year old son also picked it up easily. The B is clear and beautiful. If you can get it going really steady, harmonics start to layer on the sound as the volume starts to get rather loud. I can FEEL that like vibrations hitting me. I play brass instruments, and have for years, but I haven't ever felt sound quite like this before. It's sort of like the effect you get at a loud rock concert, or when a car with really thumping bass goes by- but it's not bass and it's not anything like that sort of volume. These come with O rings to sit them on. I find you can hold one in your hand and play it too, but they are a really too big to do that for long. After I had a session using "F" and "B" I felt very eased and relaxed. I look forward to working with these more. They are beautiful. They are made of melted, crushed quartz. They are frosted on the outside and smooth like glass inside. I find each different bowl has a slightly different 'feel' to the way it sings. The F tone itself is very accurate. What a beautiful sound that resonates from this bowl. I thoroughly enjoy and sometimes need these sounds. You can just zen for a moment, distract yourself from a busy day and listen. I would recommend this, I know I want more options for sounds, so I plan to add a few. This one in particular can get very loud, but the sound lingers which I really like. Read more

It’s a good singing bowl but not a perfect F. Actually it’s F flat and does not sound good with my other bowls due to the flat. But it is a nice bowl. I use now as a break in flow type of bowl. With Halloween coming up I might use it more for eerie sounds. Read more

I am so pleased with the F Note Quartz Crystal Singing Bowl 8 Inch Heart Chakra Meditation Sound Healing I purchased. The sound is beautiful and she sang the first time I tried. I gave a friend a sound healing and she said for days after every time she got back on her yoga mat could hear and feel the vibration. This singing bowl is really epic. The carrying case is fantastic! The interior is padded to protect the delicate bowl inside. Is quite a well made case. Bowl itself was bigger than I expected which is a good thing. The tone it produced is delightful. This is the F model which is heart chakra I believe. Use is simple, take the stick and simply slide it along the outside of the bowl and it sings. The instructions say to strike the bowl and then “chase the sound with the mallet” and this was the first time I had heard of striking first instead of simply rolling around the edge of the bowl. Sound is clear and louder than I expected! You do not need talent to do this, much like making a drinking glass sing with your finger. The sound is lovely. Highly recommended! Read more

Arrived super fast and perfect! Not even a scratch on it also it’s not in the photo but it has the cutest purple case ever!
