Very well cushioned; comfortable; wide toe box.

I purchase Topos sneakers/running shoes almost exclusively when needing sneakers, because they are well cushioned and have a wide toe box, which my feet appreciate. This particular pair is extremely comfortable. They hug my foot well with no slipping or rubbing. I got them before vacationing to Florida theme parks. There was no break-in time, and they were so comfortable and light, that I had no problems with my feet. The blue color is pretty, without being too bright. The arch support is present, but without being too noticeable. While they are somewhat expensive, for me, they are worth it. The laces stay nice and flat, and the lace holes are slots, so the laces don't "turn" in them. Read more

Amazing!!!!!

I had never heard of these shoes before I read a review on another brand that mentioned them. On a whim, I ordered my size to try, for walking and light jogging. WHAT. I previously had Hoka in size wide and they’re good but were getting a little too broken in. My feet have a regular heel, high arch, thick midfoot (but regular width), and a forefoot that splays out quite wide when standing and walking. I practically live in Birk shoes. These Topo shoes are amazing in that they are practically made for my foot—normal width heel and mid foot and roomy toe box. The padding feels slightly lower than Hoka and less marshmallow-y, but still plenty. More stable, actually. These have a pretty good rocker to the toe but not super dramatic. (I have Hallux rigidus and my toes get painful if they are in barefoot style shoes with extreme flexibility. A bit of a rocker helps.) My heels don’t slip in these at all. The jury is out on longevity, but these are perfectly comfortable right out of the box—so much so that I have my eye on the hiking boots next. Even the little details are right—easy to slip your foot into the shoe—laces sinch up easily—laces stay in place once tied. I wish I had heard of this brand earlier! I’m hooked—ten stars! (Photos compare size 10 regular black new Topo to size 9.5 wide used Hoka Bondi to compare toes and soles.) Read more

Alleviates foot pain and super comfortable!

My husband and I walk everyday. Pretty sure I have a Morton's neuroma on my right foot because I get numbing, pain, and tingling if I'm walking or hiking too long. I was researching shoes with a larger toe box and these fit the bill. The good thing is they are not wide anywhere else. My husband does call them my clown shoes, lol, But he's just joking around. They do have a strange silhouette when you look down though! I don't really care because they are so comfortable walking and eliminate my pain. The shoes are lightweight to even though they have a high stack. They cradle your foot and heel and give you tons of cushion and support. These are perfect for our long neighborhood or pave the trail walks! Would highly recommend. I actually just ordered the topo athletic hiking boot so we'll see how they do on the mountain! Read more

New iteration true to size

Great shoe and perfect heel/toe drop. This new iteration runs more true to size. In the past, I have sized up a half size and I did that in this shoe and it’s a bit too roomy, but I’m going to keep it anyway. I do wish these had more cushion, but having said that I am not running in them. I am walking and trying to do life with some permanent ankle problems. These shoes have been the best for me. I really appreciate the roomy toe box and the snug ankle. Grateful for this shoe! Read more

Forever Loyal

After trying several different brands over the years, I can confidently say that Topo shoes are the most comfortable I’ve ever worn. From the very first step, the fit felt natural and secure, almost like they were custom-made for my feet. One of the standout features is the spacious toe box. It allows my toes to splay naturally without any pressure on my toenails – something I’ve struggled with in other shoes. I’m especially impressed by how the design prevents discomfort related to ingrown toenails and swelling, which has made walking long distances much more enjoyable. Honestly, there’s nothing I dislike about these shoes. They’re lightweight, supportive, and breathable – all the things I look for when I know I’ll be on my feet for extended periods. I would highly recommend Topo shoes to anyone who experiences foot swelling, is prone to toenail issues, or simply wants a shoe that won’t cramp their style – literally. Whether you’re a walker, traveler, or someone recovering from foot pain, these shoes are worth every penny. Read more

Best Topo sneakers I've worn

I've been wearing Topos for a few years now, because of the wide toe box. I have a high arch and neutral running pattern. What I love: -Sneakers feel great on my high arch -Sneakers are comfortable & cushioned -My toes have room -The sneakers feel really stable; whatever they do to meet the "neutral" running pattern needs makes my feet feel secure on the edges -The sneaker is not wide throughout, like Brooks wides; this is good for me, as my ankle and foot are narrow, and I only need toe box width -Unlike Hokas, the design doesn't push your feet to the right; that's why I can't wear Hoka's, even the "wides" Downsides: -I find Topos, in general, wear down fast -I don't think their regular cushion shoes are cushioned enough. I wore another pair (before I bought the Atmos) to Disney, and my feet were killing me by mid-day; the next day, I wore Birkenstock sandals and they were fine So, 5 stars to the Atmos! Read more

Really comfortable running shoes

It’s so nice to find shoes that fit my feet. I need a wide toe box and the brands of running shoes I used to buy have been narrowing the toes and reducing the shoe volume. The only brands that kept their wide toe boxes are the “barefoot” shoes that are just too minimal for running miles on pavement. These are have a comfortable cushion in the sole, a nice stable feel midfoot, and arch support - very nice for running. They are not what I would call stylish, but I’m running in them, not wearing them on a date! Read more
