♥L♥O♥V♥E♥ This Fan!
The media could not be loaded. Update: still a 5★ review….but….the ring clasp can easily come undone. I had mine hooked to my purse and it somehow came off. I really hope I find it, since this fan has been awesome. I hadn’t lost it easier due to clasping it and then setting in a pocket. No pocket on purse so bye bye fan. If you purchase, I highly recommend securing fan not just with ring clasp. So far I ♥L♥O♥V♥E♥ this fan! I have several TORRAS Coolify neck fans, which I love. The cooling works great — a real game changer! I heard about the new TORRAS handheld fan and wanted to try it. Although the neck fans are great, sometimes I need something that is just a quick cool. The handheld fan looked perfect for a quick, on-the-go cool. → What I like about this fan. Upon opening the package, I could see that this was not a cheap little handheld fan. The quality in the fan’s appearance was obvious; this doesn’t look like the cheap handheld fans that you can buy for a few dollars and they work for a day. This handheld fan almost looks like a mini hair dryer, and it looks like it’s got a thoughtful design, with the blades enclosed within the unit. I pulled the unit out of the box and noticed, holding it, that it was very lightweight. As an on-the-go fan, I really liked this lightweight feel. And it’s rechargeable! I can use this, plug it in at the office or at home, then pop it back in my bag or hook it on my backpack and go! That’s awesome for me, as a professional, where I can’t always wear a neck fan to keep cool. Having this means I can discretely pop it out of my bag for a quick cool down! Above the charging port is a slider button that I can use to turn the fan power off and on. This is great for on the go to preserve power. The other side of the handheld unit is a toggle button for increasing the air movement. It goes in increments of 1-25-50-75-100, so I can have a little breeze or a lot. When I turn on the cooling plate, it can help cool the air or I can apply it directly to overheated skin for a quick super cool. The cooling plate is not too cold where it’s painful, too. It’s really, so far, been just right for my needs. → What don’t I like about this fan? My biggest worry, knowing how rough I can be with my things, is possibly damaging this fan as I carry it in my bag. The fan housing is open, which means that I could get something caught inside the blades, causing damage. If I carry it loose within a bag, I will need to put it in a carrying case to minimize blade damage. Also, if I wanted to set it on a desk or table for a moment, it will not stay upright. I couldn’t use it as a hands-free fan. Frankly, though, if I needed a fan like that, this wouldn’t be an appropriate use. The other thing that I don’t like is that the low speed is still pretty fast, with the fan making a lot more noise than I would expect, and I have to turn on the fan to turn on the cooling plate. All in all, though, I am really enjoying this little fan. Having the ability to keep myself cool without needing a huge fan. I like having a nice-looking product that looks like a quality item and not a gimmicky convenience store kid’s item to keep me cool wherever I go. Read more
