Fairly comfortable to move in. As a plus-size garment, the sizing is generous. This clothing line has its own system (0, 1, 2 etc). I hover around a 14-16, but I carry my weight in my midsection, so I often have trouble with plus sizing. Many times if it fits at my waist, the legs or bust are way too big. It took trying on Torrid clothes to realize I'm a 0 (THAT'S never happened before) because they're truly thinking about the big beautiful body with their designs. I've been shopping Torrid for over 20 years! The thing I like most is it's geared more towards younger women. So many stores only have conservative items that aren't for going out or casually chic. These pants combine fashion with the needs of a plus-size body. I'll get a lot of wear out of them. Read more

These cargo pants are lightweight and very comfortable. Size-wise I generally wear a 1X and chose the size 1 in Torrid sizing. The fit is loose on my which is my preference. Waist is elastic with a drawstring to get a custom fit. I am 5’5” and chose the short length (Size 1S) and it is perfect for me. I like the side-snap cargo pockets and the fact they are not super prominent. Pants also include two slash pockets. Good quality and easy to care for. Read more
The media could not be loaded. These are so great I just had to get the review up right away, so forgive the wrinkles I’m 5’6, 185, carry it in the butt and hips, closer to a 1 than 2 but a lot of size 1 or 16 is still a little snug on me. I also tend to wear a regular length in jeans but short in baggier pants. These are perfect. They’re very forgiving of my in-between-ness; no pulling around the butt or thighs, comfortable, natural rise. I’m sorry I don’t have the right setup to show you how these look on me, but hopefully you can see in the video what kind of fabric we’re working with here. Read more
