Like new, not a single dead sector.
S.M.A.R.T data reported only 1 hour on drive (but it could have been reset). No bad sectors. I wrote data to this drive for 30 days for Stress Testing...All good. Also, this drive has been sharing torrents 24/7 for a few months now. Good replacement for an old computer.
I set this up on an old dell laptop that came with a smaller hard drive. It works fine. Be sure to use a setup program, (there are free ones on the internet), or the computer might not recognize the new hard drive. Read more
Works Great, Packaged Nicely.
Gotta say, whoever packaged this, likes puzzles but glad they took care to make sure it was packaged nicely. It took me more time to get it out of the packaging then it did to actually set it up. As for the hard drive itself, passed all tests and runs perfectly. Read more
Low cost replacement
I refurbish computers to give away. This computer needed a replacement HHD. I have had reasonably good luck with Toshiba HHD in the past and the price was right. I rebuilt the complete OS and other software in this computer with no problems with the HHD. I haven't heard of any problems sense I gave this away. I do hope it is working fine. Read more

Works Ok but should of purchased new
Sometimes I am getting errors and one time it would not boot I am running Linux and get errors at times programs won’t work and have to scan drive for errors it fixes itself but should I send it back? My operating system is on it and I don’t have anything to backup. I will order a new drive and back it up before it goes completely and contact Toshiba or should I contact Amazon ? Read more
