Caveat Emptor (Buyer Beware), when buying used equipment. I have a Toshiba tv in our family room that we wanted to watch legacy media on. I set it up and it worked one time. Saw a video and a dvd. Next time i tried it neither worked. Plus the remote did not function at all. Thank goodness for the Amazon return policy. Read more
Hi. We received our product. It was missing the cable to connect it. Once we were able to connect it. We put a dvd in and it was awesome. Then we put in one of my VHS tapes, it was all bad. It totally destroyed my tape. We were so disheartened by this. Read more
The combo DVD/VHS player arrived in excellent condition. However, the remote didn't work. I contacted the seller and they immediately sent a replacement remote - no hassle, no questions except where to send it. We're really pleased, both with the Amazon Renewed program and the fact that we can still play all our DVDs and VHS tapes on one unit. Read more
We have lots of VHS and DVD movies that we still like to pull out and watch once in a while. Our old player died so I started searching for a new combo unit. I could not believe how expensive refurbished ones are, because stores were practically giving these away a decade ago.
