Good soft tote bag. Downy soft for real. It's quilted like a jacket might be. I got the black, and if 'black' looks somewhat blue in the photo, that's because in certain light, it does look blue, a dark blue. In a sort of backlit situation, it has blue highlights; interesting. If the girl in the seller photo holding the bag makes the bag look huge, that's because the girl is very small. The bag is good-sized, but not as huge as she makes it look. NOTE: This bag has almost NO padding on the bottom; setting the bag on a hard surface with a laptop or phone in it could damage said items unless very careful. The interior of this bag was a mid gray-brown polyester that felt nice and up-market silk-like. The interior is roomy, with 2 big side-pockets, one zippered and one opens with a velcro catch. The latter has some padding between it and the interior of the bag. A larger zipper seals the bag itself. The outside of the bag is soft, downy and quilted, or "Classic Quilted Style & Poly-Cotton Blend Fabric" in the maker's words. This quilting, while it wraps all around the bag, is not "heavy duty"; it's honestly perhaps 1/2 inch thick uncompressed. The shoulder straps are quilted too, but the stuffing there is, regretably, fairly thin, however, the straps are sewn onto the bag very nicely with extra stitching for strength. The bottom of the bag, where you might hope for some cushioning, has almost none, so you want to keep your phone in one of the pockets, not in the bottom of this bag. I would think twice about carrying a laptop in the bag. There is an extra carrying strap on one side of the bag, the use of which I'm not going to guess. Perhaps it makes the bag easier to pick up. My take: All in all, this bag is more than I expected it to be. The outside material is more plush-feeling than I expected; it doesn't have a plastic feel to it; it's very close to cotton. The style is ultimately a big rectangle shape, although the softness "softens" that look quite a bit. It's a light-duty bag, not something you would use as a suitcase; but perhaps as a casual purse or gym-bag. The zippers are moderately beefy; the stitching is good, the thread is thin; nothing about this bag says "I will last years without problems, rips or tears". But if you like something that instantly feels comfortable from day one, and that you can throw on the couch or car seat without care, this might suit you. This puffer tote bag arrived well-packaged in protective plastic, and it puffed up nicely after I followed the instructions right out of the packaging. There were a few wrinkles from shipping, but they steamed out easily without any issue. The bag is super cute: just like the photos online. The color and style matched exactly what I expected. It's perfect as an overnight bag for a short trip or even as a stylish computer bag for the day. Just note that it’s very lightweight, which I actually like, but I’d recommend putting your laptop in a protective case before carrying it in the bag, just for extra peace of mind. It’s a unique bag. It really reminds me of a winter coat. I was disappointed with the size my laptop does not fit. I think it would definitely fit an iPad or a tablet. The bag is pretty lightweight but it doesn’t hold its shape. The black color looks more like a blue. I feel like this would be a good bag to hold kids items in especially if you were traveling, I liked that the front pocket was zippered, the straps are a nice length for carrying on your shoulder. For a laptop bag, I would expect some thing a little bit more structured when you get this out of the box you do need to give it time to sit out in order to fluff. This puffy bag looked like a nice tote bag from the promos photos but I was a bit disappointed when it arrived. It was underwhelming and appeared a bit cheap, especially with the brown zipper on the black quilted exterior, maybe it was to match the interior lining but I didn’t like the look, it looks like they ran out of black zippers and just stuck a brown one on there. Additionally, one would never know the zipper was meant to match the interior of the tote unless the bag is open, I would have preferred a black one. I like the design of the bag, the exterior is a silky quilted black polyester with a zippered pocket on one side and two end pouches for a bottle of water, pens or your keys. They aren’t big enough for the large Stanley cups or insulated cups many people carry around. There is also a strap on one side to attach it to your luggage. The interior has a brown silky polyester lining with a zippered pocket and an iPad or laptop compartment and it’s very open on the inside. The bag is roomy and can hold quite a bit but I don’t know that the hand/shoulder straps will support a heavy weight. Overall, I like the design of this bag, it’s very lightweight and comfortable on your shoulder with the wider straps but I wouldn’t overload it. What I don’t like is it’s a bit flimsy, there’s no form or structure to the bag and it’s a bit cheap looking with the brown zipper. I would probably give it a 3.5 stars out of 5 if half stars were available. This tote bag is functional for a reasonable price point so I guess I can’t expect a designer bag, especially for $19.99! One of the best bags I have!! This is a very light weight bag with lots of interior space. The interior dividers help compartmentalize my items making it easier to find things. I can pack a lightweight jacket and hat along with a shopping bag/tablet as well as my wallet, keys and other necessities. The straps are not overlong and wide enough that I can carry the bag on my arm or over my shoulder comfortably. The handle strap is convenient to use with luggage.
