Really like how you can collapse the top part ribs and fabric with the touch of a button. Makes it easy to partially collapse it and go through doors when you have a wet umbrella and your hands are also full from shopping. To fully shrink the umbrella, its got an easy to grip plastic part that slides down the center pole. Other umbrellas somehow screw that up making this part too small and hard to grip, but its done right here. Nice shape and decent size handle make it easier to hold onto and control, especially in wind. Haven't dealt with any major storms yet, but its already held up to a few minor ones and felt very sturdy in the wind. Will update if this thing tanks it, but I'm very happy so far with the purchase and expect this to last a while. Read more

We just had a windy day in Boston, and the umbrella held up well. I don't think it will survive hurricane winds, but it did fine with the "normal" storm winds by the waterfront. UPDATE - Last week, on a VERY windy day in Boston, the umbrella didn't do so well. Don't assume (as my husband did) that it's unbreakable just because it handled low velocity winds better than other brands. Read more
