These bags are wonderful. We bought them to help with a yard clean-up project but are using the leftovers in our kitchen trash can. They don't smell - not even on purpose - they are puncture resistant and don't leak, and have an easy to tie closure at the top. This is a good product we'll be buying again, not just for the yard. For the price, these bags are decent. They are thinner than other contractor bags I've used in the past. The first bag I pulled had a few small holes just from rubbing against the cardboard box. For everyday trash needs, these will work fine. If you're looking to get rid of construction materials or yard debris, you may want to find something a bit thicker. Read more

As the saying goes - always use the right tool for the job, which I thought I did when I purchased these bags, but I was wrong. My intention was to use these bags for debris as I did finishing work on my garage (adding insulation, painting the floor, no demolition). In summary, the bag has an attractive price point, but any money saved was lost with the amount of double bagging needed, for my purpose at least. The awkward size and shape of the bag also meant it wasn't as "general purpose" as I hoped. This bag also has the proportions of a kelbasa, and "clogs" easily as debris can get stuck on the way down. Filling just about half way helps minimize the double bagging but wastes quite a bit of material. For reference, it ends up holding less than my 30 gallon kitchen bags. But again, I can see these bags being exceptional for the right job such as use at an office or fast food venues. Places with light weight waste. But for more rigid debris I would look elsewhere.
