Admittedly, I do not have much experience or knowledge with laptop stands like this - it might come down to preference in the end. If you prefer a heavy-duty, solid and reliable laptop stand...this is a good option, in my opinion. I don't know that it's superior quality, but it's seemingly good quality - so far. I will update should that change. 141 pounds feels like a stretch for weight limit, but I can't see how anyone would have 150 pounds of laptop on a laptop stand anyways.. nonetheless, I believe it can hold a good amount of weight. This laptop stand has come in handy for everyday-use. It's practical, functional, solid, and reliable. It's makes using my laptop a breeze standing up or sitting down. Ideally though, it's perfect for those who like to stand when using their laptop. I am able to adjust the screen and position with little effort and set it to my desired height. At first, I did find it a little cumbersome to adjust the height, but it has loosened up a bit and just means that my laptop won't randomly fall down or off at any point in time - i.e. - secure, stable. I will attach a video for a clearer understanding of this. One of my favorite aspects is the swivel function, this is honestly a great feature that is oddly gratifying to use *and* hear :D In terms of fit, my laptop sits perfectly on this stand. For space saving, the footprint isn't cumbersome but does require a small amount of square footage - fits right in on a desk space or similar area - the same is true for the design. Overall, we are happy with this laptop stand, it's functionality/usefulness, and solid/reliable build. The price seems pretty reasonable for what you get. Upon opening the product, I was immediately impressed by its build quality. The stand feels substantial and heavy, with what appears to be a sturdy construction. The rotation mechanism operates smoothly and precisely, with noticeable detents for secure positioning. When I first placed my older 16-inch laptop on it, however, the laptop slid off easily. Closer inspection revealed that the platform flexes under load, causing the device slip despite the front retainers. I attribute this to the laptop's age and weight, with the same issue occurring with my older 14-inch model (see attached photo). By adjusting the stand to a less steep angle, I was able to achieve stability, making it usable. In contrast, placing a modern thin laptop on the stand resulted in a perfect fit. I set a very steep angle and it was nicely stable. There was no gap beneath the device, and the front retainers held it securely. The hinges are notably tight—requiring some effort to adjust—but this ensures excellent support for heavier loads. Even with my very heavy 16-inch laptop, I saw no risk of collapse. The 360-degree rotation works flawlessly, maintaining stability regardless of weight, which is a standout feature. Anti-slip pads on both the laptop platform and the base perform well, preventing unwanted movement. Overall, this is a solid and well-built "modern" laptop stand with useful features like smooth rotation and reliable grip. However, the claim that it works seamlessly with all 10-16 inch laptops feels a little overstated. Older or thicker models may not sit flush and can be prone to sliding due to platform flex. Modern, thinner laptops (likely from the past several years) fit and function perfectly. For good measure, my 12-inch tablet also worked without any issues.
