This scooper is much easier to use than spooning cupcake batter. It gives a consistent amount of batter and helps me make less of a mess. I was a little concerned about cleaning it out based on other reviews, but I’ve used it a few times and haven’t had any issues. I took these pictures after making banana bread cupcakes, and you can see that the batter isn’t dripping down into the mechanism. I clean it right away: I rinse it off really well with the sprayer setting on my faucet, finishing with soap and a small brush that I use for cleaning water bottle mouthpieces. works as advertised, it’s easy to scoop the exact amount of batter you need. i use mine for cookies mostly and the paddle is such a game changer. if you bake, i highly recommend. giving 4 stars because the paddle doesn’t have traction and is loose once you push it forward. it doesn’t affect the quality or output, but i would have preferred a little more tension Read more

I just used this to make muffins in my Nordic Ware muffin pans, both standard and minis and what a pleasure. 2 scoops for the big,small scoop for the minis. Didn't have to worry about the divot in the middle, over/underfilling and everything turned out perfect. Read more

I was skeptical of this but bought one anyway. I did watch the reviews that included demonstrations. I am very impressed. It took a few times to get the hang of preventing any drips, but once I figured that out I loved that it delivered a half of a cupcake holder worth of batter each time. I also loved that it had the feet so I could set it on the counter without making an additional mess. It also cleaned easily in the dishwasher on the top rack. Read more

The idea of this is good but this does not work well. The scoop is not deep enough to keep the mix in the cup. It is messy. It’s easier to use a spoon or a measuring cup to fill cupcakes. Read more

It's fun to use but did not keep me from having to scrap and add more mix to muffin/cupcake pans. I wouldn't return it, but I wouldn't purchase it for anyone as a need to really help with mess. It is fun though and I liked using it and will use it, but it didn't save time or less mess. Read more
