These microwave covers are FANTASTIC! They collapse or expand to fit over a plate easily. Splatters inside clean up easily under water and with a sponge. I have used this microwave cover before and really love how practical it is. It keeps the inside of my microwave perfectly clean and traps splatter without overheating the food. I'm not sure that any part of this is silicone as advertised. The vented top and bottom room are hard plastic and the sides seem like a softer plastic. It is difficult to expand. The sides had rough marks in spots from expanding it the first time. However, it is cheap and a good size and I like that the handle does not extend below the top. Read more
