I love it. Pretty color, washed up well, and best of all, perfect terry cloth fabric. It’s like wearing a real towel, not the velour/velvet feeling stuff. This one absorbs the water. At first I thought the sleeves felt a bit short, up just past my wrists, but that is my preference as I don’t like the sleeves long enough to feel in the way. But trying it on again, I don’t feel they are too short. And it has a hood! I wouldn’t hesitate to buy again. 5’2”, 140 pounds and a size medium is perfect for me. Read more

Pretty decent, a little bit on the lightweight side, but not threadbare. I have a very thick one purchased about 5 or 6 years ago for a slightly higher price that was more luxurious which is finally coming apart that needs replacing. I have another without the hood that is nicer quality, but I find the hood makes all the difference in warmth when you're outside even for just a minute to go between the house and the hot tub. There are disadvantages to that thicker material that are not about how it feels, but how it is almost always creating an unbalanced laundry load, and the spin cycle on the front loaders is like a jet turbine that can rip up something that is big and bulky from the centrifugal force alone, so I was thinking maybe a little bit lighter might be better for the maintenance. The hood style is a little awkward on this though; like a boxers' robe it connects to the collar just like if you draped a towel over your head and shoulders, rather than being a separate piece that was attached to a robe that was cut to fit around the neck as normal. This makes the robe lack a definite shoulder at the top and feels less like something to wear and more like a big towel. I'm glad it has the inner ties as well as the belt, because without the shoulders to give it a shape, it really needs the tie to keep it wrapped. It also is not as warm as it could be with this style of hood, as it creates a sort of "head tent" where there's airspace under the hood above the shoulder rather than snug contact with the material, so I prefer a more tailored design of a hood attached to a regular shawl collar. It is absorbent, and comfortable especially for the warmth of the summer. I wish it were a teeny bit thicker, but for the price I can't complain much. It held up after a wash and dry without disintegrating. As far as fit goes, I found the large to be a good size for me at 5'2 @ 135-140lb 36C -30 -40 Sleeves were not too long, but reached all the way to the base of my palms. Length fell just below the knees and wrapped comfortably without a lot of excess material. I think its comparable to a 100% cotton robe without a hood that I bought about 5 or years ago for only $25. That tracks with the way prices have gone for everything recently. It's decent at a decent price. If you want something that feels a bit higher quality, I think a move to the next price tier is going to be more satisfying. I will keep this, but maybe also buy another at a price point around 20 more that will go into rotation with this. I am very satisfied with my purchase. After washing the robe (as recommended) it was much softer and fit comfortably. I ordered a Large and a small. I am 5’8” and usually wear a large top. This was a little big but in a comfortable way. The belt sit a tiny bit too low to be flattering. Fortunately I didn’t get this for how I will look in it ;) The material is somewhat lighter weight than I expected-I don’t have any other robe to compare it to though. However, it is warm and absorbent. I tried on the small and it actually fit me comfortably as well. The arm length was short but across the shoulders was actually a nice fit- if I were looking to impress I might choose a medium or a small. I am looking forward to testing this going from jacuzzi to the house this winter- in a US SoCal desert climate - the hood is my favorite part but the pockets are nice and deep too. I have used it indoors and it worked well- I didn’t have a feeling of “I want to lounge in this all day” but I was warm and dry and it is comfy. Read more

I like the design and the towel material. True to size even though I would prefer one size bigger. The reason I’m not giving 5 stars it’s because of the color, I chose lavender, and as you can see on the picture is like a soft pastel lilac, but I received a light purple that I don’t hate but don’t love it either.
