The best earbuds, for the money I've ever purchased from Amazon or Best Buy

Anne-Marie LvttMay 17, 2021✓ Verified purchase

I just got the TOZO T6 waterproof headphones tonight. One of the main reasons I picked them is because they were same day delivery for me. Since my skullcandy wireless earbuds had ticked me off for the last time I was ready to find something new. I am so happy to say that so far I am not disappointed. First of all, the packaging was immaculate. The unboxing experience felt like I was unboxing a new phone. Everything was packaged so neatly and purposefully. Fit - There is a wider availability of earbud sizes than any other headphones I have ever gotten. Not just in girth, but also depth, so there is an option for people who may have a more shallow ear canal. Very thoughtful. As soon as I paired the earbuds and picked the appropriate sized silicone earbud tip I put them in. They were lighter and fit more ergonomically than my skullcandy did. They are smaller and fit my ear more comfortably. Pairing - the process as simple as pulling the earbuds out of the box, taking the plastic tabs off, putting them in the charging case, taking them out of the charging case and waiting for the colored lights to begin flashing blue and red (took about 6 seconds). Then I scanned for TOZO 6 under "bluetooth settings" on my phone. It was literally the simplest pairing experience I've ever had. Especially considering I nearly returned my skullcandy earbuds after over an hour and them not showing up on my phone when I scanned. This was pleasantly simple and the directions given actually worked as they were supposed to. The sound - I didn't do any adjustments to the sound on my phone, other than volume and the sound was crisp, it was full bodied, clearly hearing bass, and even the highest notes in clarity. I had the volume of the song I was listening to at a bit less than 50% and full sound that didn't allow normal room noises to infiltrate. I even knocked quite hard on my wooden nightstand to test this and I could not hear the knocking. There is the option to alternate which earbud is first or secondary. Just turn off the one you want to be secondary and the other will remain primary when you turn the other back on again. I appreciate that either earbud can be primary or secondary or that can be used one at a time as well. Phone call clarity. I was able to hear crisp clear sound while on the phone and the person I talked to said I sounded crisp and clear as well. Charge - the earbud case is able to charge on a charging platform or with a micro-USB charging cable (included.) This was the only disappointment I encountered as I would have liked the T6 case to a accept the same USB C cable that my Galaxy Note phone uses. That is a minor thing that would not make me not want to use these earbuds. There were several colors to choose from, black, white, light blue, mint green, purple and pink. I chose the light blue since it matches my current phone case. However, if ever after your purchase you tire of the color of your case, there are silicone charger cases available on Amazon for purchase specifically for the TOZO T6 charger case. This can allow your earbud case to be conveniently hooked to a bag or belt loop. I cannot vouch for battery life yet, since I have only had them a couple of hours. I've had them in my ears for about 1.5 hours and they are still reading at 100%. So I am giving it 5⭐ for now. Over all well worth the $39.99 I paid for these. I'm so happy with my purchase. Great quality, excellent customer service

nolakateOctober 26, 2024✓ Verified purchase

I have AirPods Pro that I use for work, but they always fall out of my ears and don’t feel secure, and they started sounding like I was in a cave when on a call. I got these new earbuds for doing things around the house, for doing errands on my day off, and for listening to audiobooks while floating in the pool this summer (yay splash-proof!) The sound quality (both for listening and on calls) is actually pretty good. They are super comfortable and fit securely in my ears. Despite the affordable price tag, the overall quality is good—the earbuds and the case both feel substantial, not cheap and breakable. Also, the battery life is far better than my AirPods Pro. These last 2 to 3 times longer if not more. I fully didn’t expect them to become my favorites over the AirPods, but the battery life alone makes them more useful. Re: customer service— After having them for a couple months, the right one started to have charging issues, and I emailed the company. After providing suggestions on how to fix/test, and after I sent them some pics and videos demonstrating that they were indeed malfunctioning, they made it right and replaced the broken unit. The process was thorough to prove that there was actually a problem, but I fully understand—they don’t want people trying to scam them. They were very kind and very quick to respond to emails throughout the whole process. Very much appreciated. Read more

Great Earbuds for the Price

Chris YoungSeptember 29, 2022✓ Verified purchase

TL;DR - I would say that the TOZO A2 is pretty much unbeatable in its price bracket. I don't believe there are any negatives that would discourage me from recommending this product to anyone, but there are definitely some quirks that I hope to see TOZO improve on in the future. As someone who has owned a previous generation of TOZO product, I do appreciate how they seem to actively listen to feedback. They also have had wonderful support, in my experience. Sound: The tuning is bass-heavy but they manage to not sound too muddled. I was surprised that battery powered earbuds could thump and rumble as well as these do. If you're looking for something a little more detailed and treble-focused, these probably aren't for you without some EQ work. Songs can feel a little "in your face" at times because the soundstage on these is relatively narrow. The plus side is what it lacks in space it makes up for in directionality. I was impressed with how clearly I could hear the positioning of instruments. In this regard, the A2 outclasses many much more expensive earbuds and IEMs that I've tried. I was hoping that TOZO offered a partner app that would allow for personal tuning, but I do not believe there is one available at the moment. The only objective negative I can point out in the sound department is that, despite being bass-focused, the max volume is still on the low side. If you like to listen to music louder than average you may be disappointed. Construction: These don't feel like $20 earbuds at all. The injection molding on the plastic components is all very clean and the case feels solid. The hinge has no play in it and the cover closes with a satisfying magnetic snap. There is a single USB-C port on the exterior for charging the integrated case battery. Charging status is indicated by LED lights on the front of the case as well as on each of the earbuds. Fit: I personally found these to be very comfortable and light. I forgot I was wearing them many times. The shape seems to ensure that they are more "one size fits all" than more traditional earbuds. My only nitpick is that there is no cutout or groove to keep the silicone tips aligned to the oval stem so sometimes I noticed I'd need to rotate the tips so they aligned with the speaker hole again. Features: The range on these things has been excellent. I'll sometimes leave my phone and wander around the house while working on chores and I've had zero disconnects so far. They resume connection very quickly on my Pixel 6 when being removed from the charging case. I've not yet had a single time where I ran down the battery in one listening session save for the time when I tried them right out of the box and they weren't fully charged. If you do ever reach low battery you'll definitely know it though. The annoyed voice notification will repeat over and over about once per minute until you charge them again. Speaking of charging, I was a bit surprised to find that they didn't support wireless charging on the case but I really can't even complain for the price. My only true frustration? The touch controls. I loved this feature on my previous TOZO model but I cannot stand it on these. Yes, it's functional. If you input the command it proceeds to carry it out. However, it's become quite a nightmare to input the intended commands. The area that registers touches is much smaller on these earbuds due to their shape. I had assumed that the stems would be touch sensitive all the way down but that does not seem to be the case. There's only a tiny section near the LED indicator light on the earbud that works for these commands. Good luck hitting it consistently. Maybe I'm just not practiced enough yet but tapping twice to go to the next song or previous one is so unreliable. I end up in a cycle of pausing and resuming my music about 5 times before I actually get it to work. Of course, I don't want that to come off as too negative. The earbuds are still wonderful for their main purposes of listening to and enjoying music. Just something to consider if you intend to use them further away from your device. Read more
