I have purchased several of these cameras over the years. They have good trigger speed & take good pictures. They are small & fairly easy to hide. The battery life is not as good as advertised, you can tell the batteries are weakening when you start getting few or no night pics. They will take pics for months on only just 4 AA, but after 3 weeks you are missing things that would get photographed with fresh batteries. Another problem is the on/off slide switch will stop going into the operate mode after about a year or two. You can get into program/set but not to operate. I've had 8 of these out in the field for several weeks. For the price I'm happy with them. They are designed to be small so there is no screen, and they only hold 4 batteries. I had one out for 2 weeks triggering constantly though, and it never died. Comes with video/single photo/3xburst photo options. Also allows you program a camera id that is visible in the photo/video which is nice. The coolest feature is that all pics/vids show the moon phase that day. If you're a hunter you know why this is valuable. I also have night pics that are quite good for such a cheap camera. I got a 6x6 and a 5x5 elk in separate vids (pic attached) that were about 20 yards from the camera with low light and you can tell which is which. Note that my attached pics are screenshots of the content, and don't show the entire photo that includes the camera id, moon phase, etc. Here's my breakdown: Pros: 1. cheap 2. small 3. come with batteries, all mounting equipment etc 4. Video quality is quite good for the price. Even with intense sun I didn't get washout. Night pics are good for such a small camera. Cons: 1. No battery life indicator anywhere so there's no way to tell when to the batteries need to be changed 2. The ID function that you use to determine the triggering area isn't very good. I actually got triggers beyond where the camera said it would trigger. Maybe this isn't a con per se, but the function should be improved 3. When I had something in the area for a long period of time that continuously triggers the camera, I started getting a lot of corrupted video. This is actually a big deal, because if I had multiple animals coming through in that time frame, I'll miss a large portion of them. This definitely needs to be fixed. But for the price, this didn't happen enough to dissuade me from buying these again if I need bulk cameras. Honestly, if it weren't for this I would give this a 5 star review. The battery indicator isn't that big of a deal, but this could be a deal breaker for someone who needs reliability. In short, if you're looking to buy a large quantity of cameras to just get bulk data about an are, look no further. If you want a reliable, feature rich camera with high quality video and you just plan to buy one or two, I would suggest spending a little more. Buy once, cry once as they say. Read more

I received my G100 mini trail cameras and the setup procedure in the manual was a no brainer. I'm not a very tech savvy person. Checked the cameras a couple days later and my card reader showed "Card Error". Contacted customer service and they were extremely patient and helpful. Turns out my camera that I use to view my SD cards is 20 years old and won't accept formatted cards from the trail cameras. When I put the SD cards in a laptop I had alot of pics on all the cameras. Pictures are amazing. I will be purchasing a couple more cameras. Read more
