Very inexpensive cushion I bought for my husband’s wheelchair. It fits well and he says it’s quite comfortable. I like that the cover can be zipped off so it can be washed. Many wheelchair cushions are extremely expensive—hundreds of dollars, in fact. I’m sure they are much better than this one. But he is not constantly in his chair, nor is he prone to pressure sores. I bought a few of these at $19 each so that I could cycle through them while the covers run through the wash. The foam material is pretty durable for sitting and it bounces right back into shape, and these are way more comfortable than having someone sit in just a wheelchair seat all day. The size (width and length) are a very good fit for a chair. They aren't as thick as the last cushion I had for my mother's chair, but they have enough thickness to be comfortable, and at half the cost they are a great value. The gel part seems pretty thin, but its enough. The covers fit well, and you can take them off and wrap the cushion in a plastic bag to help keep it clean. The last cushion I had was a similar material and it tore itself in half in my washing machine, so just make an effort to keep them clean from the get go and they will last a long time. Read more
