The media could not be loaded. Fairly decent size. I used my hand to show the scale of the size of the film/dressing. It is easy to apply and easy to remove without pain. I used these films to cover a wound my 6 year old had that got infected with staph. I would apply her antibiotic ointment and then cover with gauze and use the sticky film to keep water from entering and keep the ointment in place. Worked great!! I had a stitched wound on my shin that had to be kept dry during showering. This film is very sticky, and stuck to the surrounding area very well- almost TOO well. It was very difficult to remove. I am older, and have very thin, nearly "crepey" skin, and must be very careful with anything that sticks to the skin. For younger folks, and those with very sturdy skin, it would be great. It kept the skin area with the bandaged wound completely dry during showering, so the end result was satisfactory from that perspective. ** FYI- it is also advertised as being a good cover for IV ports. I don't think it would be a good idea, unless you don't want that port to move- ever. If you were to peel this film off of an active port, I'd be concerned that it would pull the port out as it was peeled off. Read more
