Holds more than my regular carry-on suitcase

I was able to pack enough for a 2.5 week trip to Flint, Michigan in October/November plus have enough room for presents! So far I’ve traveled with it as a carry-on and as a checked bag. It held up well both ways. The only issue is that with clothes inside the garment bag portion, it can be a bit difficult to zip up into the bag. Read more

Good price but quality seems to be lacking

Nick A.June 22, 2025✓ Verified purchase

This bag is versatile in just about every way. Fits plenty of clothes and has significant pockets. My only issue is the quality of the parts of the bag. One of the shoe compartment vents broke off and now there’s an open hole. I’ve only used the bag 3 times since getting it 2 months ago. I’ve enjoyed it up to this point. Product durability needs to be improved. Read more

Lacks structure

== Concept This is an interesting design, though not likely one I'll use much as an alternative to a suitcase. The whole duffle exterior unzips to become a hanging garment bag. The idea is that you can hang your suit or dress clothes without having to fold them. Additionally, there is a laptop area to store your tech. == Design and construction The materials are middling quality, but the bag looks good enough when it's packed out and not collapsing in on itself. The largest detractor is that the bottom and sides have no frame sheets to help keep the bag's shape. Hence, it doesn't carry unevenly weighted items well and may sag in the middle, causing your garments to bunch and wrinkle. A large separate shoe area accessed from one end can consume most of the interior space if it's fully packed out. There's no strap or restraint to keep the metal hook from flapping around on the inside when the bag is folded. == Overall Opinion This bag will not do a great job of keeping your clothes wrinkle-free or protecting your laptop from damage. You could use it for casual gym wear, but I still dislike that it doesn't hold its shape very well. It's a bold attempt at an innovative design, but in the end, it fails to be an effective solution to the problem. Read more

Lived up to my expectations!

This bag did the trick! Went on a 7 day Alaskan cruise out of Vancouver so had layovers and customs. Wanted to do carryon and this worked! I had a ton of stuff packed in here. It was heavy but held together and worked great! I also used the Hibag travel compression bags to help with space. I’ll be looking for rollers to use but we made it! My husband’s bag was light because there were no all weather shoes in it but his had a rain jacket, a fleece coat, 2 jeans, 4 polo and button up shirts, sweatshirt, a fleece shirt, tee shirt, socks, dress pants, 2 pair gloves, hat and swim suit. The shoes made a difference in weight of course but my shoes were lands end all weather shoes. As full as they were they still fit in carryon easily on a large plane and fit (with a shove) on a small one. Read more

Duffle/garment bag

Lisa B.March 16, 2025

I love this type of bag--I've purchased several--and this may be the best one so far. The zipper is beefy. It works flawlessly and easily, well, except for when it has to go around corners. It still works, but there's a learning curve (no pun intended) for the required technique (brace the inside with your fingers to hold the edge piping out of the way so the zipper can slide around the curve). Once you figure that out, piece 'o cake. As with others of this type of bag, there are pockets inside of pockets, most with zippers. If you can't find a pocket for every need, you have no imagination. The shoe pocket is the largest, and therefore most useful, I've seen. It has two silicone-edged vent holes, a nice feature. I ESPECIALLY like the laptop pocket on the front. It's lined with a soft, velveteen fabric. Inside the laptop pocket are all the extra pockets for pens, cards, cords, and gadgets you could ask for. I specifically got this bag for this pocket--it eliminates, nay, obliterates, the need for my previously adored laptop backpack. There is a removable long strap, a bonus tiny zippered bag that can be clipped to some other clip for whatever tiny thing you feel requires its own zippered bag, a hanging hook at the top of the garment bag (my previously favorite bag like this lacked a hook, which I feel is a necessity). There are substantial silicone feet for what that's worth. The waterproof canvas-type fabric is attractive and utilitarian. The one thing lacking--that all of them seem to lack--is a clip to keep the big, main zippers from unzipping where they meet in the middle. A carabiner or luggage lock will do the trick, but it would be nice if such was included. Every other need you might possibly have has been thoughtfully addressed, making this feel like a glaring omission. It's purported to be a carry-on. If that's true, this bag will be worth its weight in gold. I just got back from a vacation in which I carried seven days of clothes in one of these. We didn't fly so I can't speak to the suitability of its size as a carry-on, but my husband believes it conforms, while I think it may be just a bit too big. I'll look forward to hearing others' experiences. I'm sure I'm missing some of this bag's many wonders. It's fabulous. I love it. You want one. I promise. Read more
