I was able to flight test this neck pillow on a ten-hour international flight. This is my first foam pillow, as I’ve always found them too bulky to carry with me. Compared to my old blow-up neck pillow, this pillow offers considerably more support. It took some time to get the position right for the length of my neck. The neck pillow varies in terms of height and thickness when secured, so I had to spin it around until I found the right position. I was concerned it might be too warm, but I didn’t encounter any overheating issues on the flight. Due to its bulkiness, the pillow pushed up against my wireless earbuds (mine have a stalk that extends downward), which was uncomfortable at times. I used the pillow twice during my trip, and the Velcro started wearing on the trim and causing a couple of small pulls on the inner fabric. First Impressions: Squishy! This neck pillow is an interesting cross between the conventional c-shaped neck pillow and a c-spine collar. I like how the pillow is adjustable via a velcro closure. I like that the velcro hooks come covered. I appreciate that the sides are high enough to lean against and the back is not so thick as to push the head forward. Supportive yet soft enough to prevent feeling choked. That said, I have a short neck and the sides pushed up against my cheekbones. While the feeling isn't painful, it is snug and takes some getting used to. I wore it for over 30 mins on a car trip and it did the trick.
