This is a fine suitcase! It's lightweight and the wheels freely move around (which was an issue with my last suitcase). The drink holder on the side is a nifty feature which came in handy! Generally these are a good basic suitcase set. They have wide handles that work fairly easy. The zippers work with no issues, and they are not heavy at all. So I would recommend these if you are buying a simple wedding gift, or for your kids if they do not travel much but occasionally need to have a suitcase. But, they are not heavy duty in any sense of the word. The wheels work, but they would not hold up for a lot of heavy use, especially if you need to use them to cross concrete or blacktop parking lots. After a little like usage I noticed they had noticeable wear. The shells are very thin and the whole suitcase flexes fairly easily, so I would not trust them to be handled too often by baggage handlers for most airlines. The handles are wide, something I have seen a very companies have tried to implement, but they tend to twist if you have a heavy pack in the case. The person I purchased them for was excited about the wide handles, but after a few uses she admitted they do not actually provide any benefit or improve how the suitcase handles when you are moving them around. In the end, I ended up buying another set of suitcases for her, and she handed these over to her son who does not travel as often as we do. Read more
