Great bag for travel. Comes with a number of safety features including hooks for zipper pulls, and so many pockets for carrying around money, passports, cards, etc, as well as everyday things you might need while exploring a new place. The anti-slash fabric feels nice and is smooth and comfortable. And such a pretty blue color. Bought this for a young family member traveling abroad for the first time and it is just stylish enough to blend and safe enough that they didn't have to worry about pickpockets or losing their passport or anything. I really likel how this pack is secure. The zippers work well. Hooking them to the attachments takes a bit of time, which is their purpose, since unhooking them does, too, lol... For me, this is a minimalist backpack. I wish it had a big outer pocket for a large or even small waterbottle. The slots for the credit cards, for me, take a bit of maneuvering to get the cards in and out; but that is okay and is not really a bad thing as they are in there and safe. If it were bigger I could put my bigger camera in it, so I wish I could do that; however, my Fire tablet, phone, wallet, makeup, big sunglasses case, credit cards, and keys (there is a nice attachment for the keys which has a small flashlight on it-Nice) case for Diabetes stuff, emergency sugar stuff, tiny hairbrush, comb fit in well. Overall, I am very happy with this backpack, it is comfortable to wear and easy to adjust. The blue is a sweet color. It has an outer zipper pocket, inner zipper pocket and a flap pocket on the pack covered by the closing flap. I like to put my phone in there when I know I will need to use the phone quickly, otherwise there is a really nice pocket inside the pack next to the credit card pockets for that and also, my husband's reading glasses fit nicely in a pocket there, too--which is really nice as I can get them quickly for him. I ordered about three backpacks for traveling in high pickpocket areas of Europe. I chose this one for the following reasons: anti theft features!! Locking strong zippers, small water bottle pockets, nice light colored interior, comfortable shoulder straps. I like this small size. Big enough to stash a travel umbrella , IPAD and a lightweight packable jacket, snacks. I also wanted something on the smaller side for weight reasons. Read more

This is a really nice size to use as a purse/small day pack while traveling. I used it every day of my trip for a few weeks. The black looks nice enough to get by in Singapore, but is casual enough for Bali. I knew I was going to stick out as a tourist in SE Asia, so I figured a slim backpack with some anti theft features might be practical. To be honest I was overly cautious and never even came close to needing those features, but its a nice bag nonetheless. It easily held a small water bottle, sarong, wallet, phones, and a few other essentials while being small and light. This is my second Travelon bag, and I must say my opinion on this bag is very different from my first one. Pros: • Size wise, this bag is perfect. Big enough to keep the essentials on you, and enough extra space for a few water bottles, and e book, planner, things of that sort. • The font pocket can be “locked”. As well as the bigger main pocket. • The organization of the inside of the big pocket is great. You have a zipper pocket, and other pockets for your cards. • I purchased black, and the lining is a gorgeous teal color. Cons: • The straps slid off my shoulders easily • I am constantly readjusting the straps. I adjust and they slip and become uneven. • The strap on the left has a clasp at the end so if you are dining, you can attach it to your seat to keep it protected....however, this makes it difficult to see if your straps are even in length because the metal part on the straps don’t line up. One is higher than the other. • The BIGGEST con (for me) is the magnetic flap closure. It is NOT a strong magnet. It flops open if I have it decently filled, making the additional pocket in front of the main pocket exposed. The bag I purchased years ago has a metal closure to keep that flap closed. This bag is so great. It is big enough to fit my iPad, a small book, small bottle of water, small bottle of sunscreen, portable charger, and other small items. It is small so you aren’t going to fit much more in it. The zippers that clip for anti-theft are great, as is the clip on the one strap to secure around your table or the arm of your chair. Because it is pretty small, you can’t overfill it so it doesn’t hurt the neck or shoulders which is a problem I have with larger bags. It is easy to wipe clean, inside (nice plastic material) and outside. I used this bag a LOT on a 2 week trip and it was perfect. It was durable - not one sign of wear after a lot of travel and touring. It was great as my personal carry on item, it fit all the things I needed on an 8-hour flight. The zippers are very sturdy and didn’t malfunction or catch on anything one time. This bag is exactly what I was looking for and I really recommend it if you are looking for a small travel bag.
