I was trying to figure out a way and how to pack lighter for my trip to Italy by downsizing my suitcase, and I was going to carry a backpack. This was my answer!! It carries like a backpack but opens like a mini suitcase! It’s very comfortable has padded straps ,extremely light weight and very roomy. I mainly wanted this to put my clothes in so I would have a room in my check in suitcase for my toiletries, shoes, and bulky items like a jacket. I was able to fit most of my clothes in this without becoming too heavy. Several pairs of pants and shirts fit comfortably. If I wanted to, I could put much much more, but I didn’t want it to get too heavy. It has mesh pockets on the inside several zippers and compartments just like a regular suitcase. This is very lightweight, which is what I wanted. It opens like a suitcase in addition to the regular backpack mode, has lots of places to store items, and is very adjustable for shorter people like me. I will probably add some chest or belly straps - that's the only thing missing on this. Read more
You’re not gonna get all of the Tom Bihn or Patagonia styling or extras. This is the backpack equivalent of dad sneakers. Boring is a feature- when you’re surrounded by a sea of travelers with fancy bags, you’re less of a target. Get some small packing cubes or compression bags and you won’t believe how much stuff you can throw in here. It fits under alaska and delta economy seats- it’s the sole piece of luggage i’ve used for most trips in the last year. Read more

I purchased this bag for plane travel. I have used it minimally. This week was the true test, 3 days of carrying on a plane & airport. This bag failed MISERABLY. I am not a big person, not over 10# weight of contents. As picture shows it has started tearing apart at zipper. I would not recommend this bag unless you are transporting a box of Kleenex! Attractive backpack with a clean/thin profile. Very functional as an overnighter or for under the seat on airplane. One larger main section and a separate smaller zipped section, with an interior zipped area for securing items. Fabric is light weight and durable; zippers operate smoothly, shoulder straps are very well padded, and suede trim is natural. Has a side handle, so can be carried like a briefcase. Attractive in grey with black zippers and brown suede accents. A strap across the back can be used to put backpack on the handle of a rolling suitcase. This is foldable for storage.
