I got this to fit the very strict Lufthansa carry-on requirements (that it seems are not as strictly enforced as I was afraid because practically everyone had larger bags than me), but I was very satisfied with it. Along with a backpack, I was able to pack enough clothes to last me a week. It was very very light (but I did pack light), enough that I could easily carry it with the handle and put it in the overhead bin. It also fit perfectly under my seat on an A320 when all the people with bigger suitcases took up all the overhead bin space :)… The quality is obvious. Zippers are perfect, rolls easily. The retractable handle worked perfectly. You will annoy people because it trails behind you a bit but that’s a bonus if you ask me because why are they walking so close anyway? Exactly the same quality as in the bigger TravelPro I bought as part of my flight attendant gear years ago. Read more

I am a long time international traveler. Over the years, I have tried various checked and carry on bags. I am in my late 60's and have decided that I know longer want to have a heavy back pack. I bought this bag to take to Europe for two weeks as a carry on. I LOVE IT. It rolls well. Has good capacity and is well made. It fit in the overhead on all of my flights with different equipment. It is great to put the stuff I want to have with me on the plane. Also, gave me some extra capacity for anything I would buy. It will also be a great weekend bag. Oh -- and it was easy to slide over the pull up handle on my checked bag. Travel Pro is great! Read more
This is essentially a small suitcase. I was looking for something to organize different items for myself and then also compartmentalize some things for family members. If I were solo traveling on a 2 to 3 day trip, this thing would be amazing! I only returned it because it didn’t fit my needs and was looking for a little more compartmentalization. It’s of excellent build quality, is rigid, and a very nice “mini suitcase“. There’s no dedicated padded pocket to hold a laptop. The outer pocket can hold a small tablet, but not a 13” laptop. You could put a laptop inside, but there’s no pocket or straps to secure it. It will just rattle around with the other items. Lastly, on newer aircraft, particularly in first class and comfort zones where they are making seats a little differently, this bag did not fit under the seat. Potato rigid- like a suitcase. The under seat space in newer aircraft is smaller. In the main cabin, it actually has potential to fit. Pros • Excellent build quality • Smooth back wheels (only 2, not a 4 wheel spinner) • Surprisingly large capacity • Professional appearance • Great for short solo trips Best For • Overhead bin use • Regional jets / older aircraft • Solo business travelers • Light packers Not Ideal For • Families carrying multiple passengers’ inflight items • Travelers needing high organization • Newer aircraft with reduced underseat clearance Cons (situational) • Did not fit underseat on newer Delta A321neo aircraft • Rigid wheelbase limits flexibility • Single large compartment made it harder to organize family items inflight Read more

Nice, solid, yet light weight travel bag. I’ve had several TravelPro bags and trust their materials and sturdiness. This bag is a great size for me for 2-3 nights away and having the telescoping pull handle saves my shoulders and back. It reportedly fits under the seat in front but honestly I never tried it there. The airline folks took a look at it and sent me onto the plane without a hitch. I could put it in the overhead space myself so all good. Read more
