Perfect suitcase. Great size. Fits easily into overhead bins. Durable. Plenty of room for an average 3 day trip, maybe longer. Rolling is very smooth and the handle mechanism is one of the sturdiest I have used. I had no issues with the suitcase toppling over. While not overly heavy, this suitcase is a little weightier but I feel that is due to the quality materials and solid construction. The only issue I have noticed is that it has a tendency to roll away from you if you let go of the handle. Read more

I have been traveling for over 13 years about 3 months a year. I have just retired and had decided to purchase a good set of luggage, as eventually my wife and I will be moving to Europe and traveling extensively. I did a lot of research before purchasing anything. My first choice was Briggs and Riley. I purchased their hard side Torq and was extremely disappointed. It felt cheap, and the color, I ordered the green, looked black unless you were in direct sunlight. I sent it back. I then looked at soft sided luggage. I kept reading the Briggs and Riley had the incredible warranty of a lifetime guarantee. When I was looking at Travelpro, their warranty for the soft side Platinum Elite is also a lifetime guarantee. Their other products are not, just the soft sided Platinum Elite. Then I looked at the features. Briggs and Riley have a compressions system on their top-of-the-line suitcases. But the price to have that is system is a lot, $409.00 for the medium spinner and $338.00 for the carry-on above the Travelpro prices for the same thing. And, Travelpro does have sales once in a while where Briggs and Riley do not. From my observations, Travelpro has the same quality, the same smooth wheels, and the same warranty as Briggs and Riley at about half the cost. For the compression, you can get a set of Travelpro Compression Cubes that work extremely well. For the medium check-in suitcase, there is a fold out on the inside lid for putting shirts and/or pants and/or dresses that works very well. I can fit about 6 to 8 shirts, using my hangers, and they do not wrinkle! I just take out the shirts on the hangers and hang them up, so easy and convenient. I purchased the medium check-in, the international carry-on, and an Altitude backpack (to use for my c-pap machine then can use for sightseeing!) My suitcases are in the classic grey. I then purchased my wife the medium check-in and the standard carry-on in the olive green for Christmas. I think that color is awesome! I like that almost better then the grey. I also like the quality of the material and the YKK zippers for all the suitcases. Very heavy duty. On a side note, Briggs and Riley came up with a compression system in the ZDX series where you open the zipper to expand the suitcase then, once packed, zip it up to compress the clothes. My question would be, can’t you do the same with a Travelpro? Just unzip the expanding portion of the suitcase, then once packed, zip that up? And the B & R ZDK is about $240.00 more expensive for the medium than the top-of-the-line Travelpro! Why pay the extra money? I would definitely recommend these suitcases to all my friends and family! Read more

I wanted a carryon to avoid possible delays in getting luggage. I test packed it and it easily holds a week of clothes, including a sweater and a light jacket. This is my third Travelpro piece. Very durable with a lot of compartments to keep things separate and easy to get to. Read more

I bought this to as my small carry-on for my 15" laptop and a few things that I wanted to have with me when I bring my large 30" Delsey suitcase to stow under the plane. I've been buying and returning a number of other manufacturer's small carry-ons because they were too small for my computer. This one is perfect and my laptop fits in the top front pocket, so I have so much more room for other things. Travelpro really knows how to design luggage to be functional, stylish, and durable at an affordable price. Read more

I love this lightweight, well-designed piece of luggage. But, after only two trips, one of the zippers broke. I take good care of my things and the bag was never checked, only carry on. So, I’m not sure if the zipper is defective or what. Is there a way to have the zipper repaired or the bag replaced? Thank you. Read more

It seemed to be only 1/4 inch shorter than my old carryon, but it made a diff on recent flights on Turkish air! The overhead bin closed with a just a hairs breadth of space to spare. Nice! Very sturdy, very smooth rolling. Seems like it will last for the decades I usually keep my suitcases for. Read more
