A sauce pan is not a sauce pan, when it's a mini pot, which is a more acurate discription of this item. I wanted to use this as a quick 8oz water boiling pot for tea and such. It's a 4/5 as it does accomplish this on an induction stove (which is what i use, so no worry of burning the leather tie or wooden handle). Surprising to me... it takes longer to boil 2oz of water in this pot than 8oz of water when using a standard 5-ply 2 quart pot (think Kirkland). I figuer that fast heating 5-ply does make a difference along with the additional surface area (takes 55 seconds to boil). This pot has been relegated to heating up not boiling a bit of water to add to the dog/cat food instead of running the tap for minutes to get hot water. The pot is conveniently hanging within reach of the kitchen sink. Now if I can convice the rest of the familly to do the same we can save some water. I love this little pan👍. I originally ordered this to make homemade lattes. I had purchased a manual frother, but soon discovered I needed to heat the milk so it didn't cool down the coffee. This pan was perfect for warning up the small amount of milk, since I don't have a microwave. I live in an old cottage built in the early 1930's and there are very few electrical outlets in each room. I have also found other uses for this little pan. And it's light weight and easy to store because of its size. No Teflon issues, another plus. And I think it's cute as well as easy to clean 😃. Read more

works as advertised ... use it for sauces, etc for small quantities/batches or prepping ... nice quality only 'wish' is that the walls were a little thicker so the pan would be a little heavier/more sturdy and heat more evenly ... hence 4 stars vs. 5 ... but I guess I shouldn't have expected too much for the price overall I'm happy with it and have used it a number of times since purchasing ... a keeper Read more
