Absolutely love this pad, just did a 2 night winter camp outing and the first nights temp average was 18 degrees Fahrenheit with reel feel average of -10 and it kept me warm and cozy. I did have ground tarp under my tent and woovie blanket under the pad to help retain heat in my tent, regardless the pad works great. With a cheaper pad that’s not insulated you would for sure get cold. If using in cold temps make sure you use a pump otherwise blowing it up wit your mouth will cause condensation inside pad and that condensation will freeze making you colder. Read more
Great for the money. Very comfortable to lay on I’m a big guy and slept well on it. Light weight, and compact. Inflated with a small air blower in no time. Time will tell on durability but seems to be built very well. Read more
The Trekology UL R7 is a good value for a comfortable insulated sleeping pad. I have purchased two of these for my family to use while camping in an area with mild winters where frost on the ground is only occasional. The mat inflates easily with an electric air pump, but deflation could have easily been easier. The foil insulation has a tendency to obstruct the air flow when deflating. It is easy to use a finger to hold the insulation aside, but it would have been easy to clip a small piece of the insulation at the factory to prevent this problem. As far as comfort, I am 6 feet tall (1.8 meters) and about 240lbs (109 kg) and the mat is thick enough to keep me off the ground, long enough to keep me from hanging off the ends, and wide enough that I do not tend to roll off of the mat. That said, if you are much taller than I am, you might need to seek a longer sleeping pad. As far as the insulation, I do not believe the R7.2 claim from the manufacturer. At this R value, the mat should be good for some temperatures WAY below freezing. From my experience, the mat is adequate for temperatures around freezing with some slightly cool spots where the bulk of my weight rests on the mat, but I would not trust it for colder temperatures. Overall, I am very pleased with the value and comfort of this purchase with the one warning about the temperatures rating. Any big name mat that is better than this one likely be more than double the cost. Read more

Perfect for my 10 ft bridge hammock & 7 ft gathered end hammock. I would not sleep on the ground with this. My hip, shoulder and arm were on the ground It was very uncomfortable as a side sleeper. However my hammocks and I loved this. I could feel my body heat radiating back to me from the sleeping pad. No more CBS. Would recommend and purchase again for my hammocks only. Utilized the pump sack to avoid condensation inside the sleeping pad for longevity and it worked perfectly. Read more

Purchased for cold weather scout camping. Kept the scout cozy warm in an Adirondack shelter while they earned frost points. Overnight lows of 29F. Very long, quick to inflate. Quick to deflate, and goes easily back into the sack. Comfortable, light weight, and easy to use. No fighting to squish back into the sack. Read more
