The media could not be loaded. Exceeded my expectations! The ping when you open it is super satisfying, the flame adjustment is precise and snug, it's got a good weight, no complaints at all. This thing is beautiful and anime accurate. DISCLAIMER: as for the negative reviews saying it won't light, make sure to fill the butane using the metal nozzle tip that it comes with. If it still won't light, turn the flame adjustment all the way tight, then very slowly increase it while flicking the flint. It isn't DuPont, though I imagine it's made exactly the same. Bought this the other day and have had no problems with the product. Works as intended. It does not cover with butane, so you'll have to buy your own, and that is fine. It does come with a spare flint, so that's good. I had a problem with postage and received the package a day later than anticipated, not to mention the packaging was damaged, but once I cut the tape and opened the box, I couldn't help but laugh a little when seeing just how much bubble wrap was used to keep my product safe. The seller even refunded some of my money for the postal issues. After carefully removing layers and layers of bubble wrap, I'm finally presented with a slim orange box. And inside my newly purchased slim orange box, is my brand new, shiny, slim, Sleeping Mermaid DuPont-like cigarette lighter. It even has Oda's signature engraved on the side. After filling it with a proper amount of butane, every strike has lit. The flame is easy to adjust, if need be, and I have noticed no leaks whatsoever. All in all, I am very proud of my purchase. This JT. Dunant lighter is perfect. I tried offerings from other brands at slightly lower prices and found them to be of both worse quality engraving and plagued by issues. Meanwhile this version is everything I wanted it to be and more. The engraving is beautiful, it provides a pleasant and fully adjustable flame, has a nice weight to it, and functions flawlessly. Well worth the ~$10 more than the next leading option. Additionally I think the JT. Dunant brand is clever. I have seen other versions of this that straight up copy the S.T. Dupont branding on the bottom, and I do not care for such blatant fakery. S.T. Dupont's Sleeping Mermaid lighter was a limited production run over a decade ago, they aren't available anymore and cost a fortune even second hand. On the other hand JT. I’ve been using it daily for 4 months now. The last couple days it was getting hard to light. Had to flick it several times to get it lite. Turns out I just needed to replace the flint. And it had a replacement flint all ready to go for me! Swapped out the flint and Curley brow is back in business. For a replica I’m super impressed. It’s heavy and feels good.
