I ordered this in a size medium but I think a size large would have fit my waist more comfortably and the hips may have been more flattering. The fit is pretty true to size on the measurements. My hips are 45 inches and my waist is anywhere between 30-34 with bloating. I don't like this to start- the fabric is very reminiscent to the uniforms we wore in concert band in high school. It feels almost plastic and feels very cheap. The material is medium weight. So not too warm but not too light that it will blow away in the wind. The style is cute on the models but I think it's not as cute in person. I have it in black so I had a hard time getting photos that can really showcase what I mean. The underskirt isn't sewn down all the way so you can see it sticking out on the edge of the slit. The pockets also aren't very deep. It looks and feels very cheap to me, I'm saving it for a potential costume but I'd never wear this out otherwise. Read more
