I've had reallllly hit or miss experiences with clothes on Amazon. I ordered this along with a few other skirts for a Vegas trip with no expectations and was pleasantly surprised by this skirt! It's a really good value for the money & fit well with a good amount of stretch, not see-through or scratchy material. It was comfortable and really chic and has held up well since. Overall, I like this skirt a lot. The fit is good, it hugs all the right places and stays put without riding up. It's thick enough to not be see through but light enough to be comfortable year round. My only (minor) complaint is that the waist band (top 2-3 inches) is very loose fitting, not clingy like the rest of the skirt. Otherwise, highly recommend. Read more

I received this today, opened it, threw it on and ran to write this review. These little tube skirts are an essential for me and I haven't replaced them in about 10 years. The ones I have had for so long were H&M brand, and I've found the style to just be very versatile and easy and flattering so it was time to buy some new ones because I've worn tiny holes in mine. First of all, this one is far superior to my H&M ones because they are much thicker, for one thing. Perfect length, completely not see-through, actually even kind of warm because of the thickness. The stretching is perfect. The waistband is perfect. The price is delightful. Now that I am done expressing my joy with buying clothes off the Internet and being happy with them right off the bat and not having to return anything, I must wrap this up so that I can buy several more before they disappear to the Amazon ether has clothes on here ocassionally do. For reference, I bought the black mini, I'm a smidge over 5'7, 160 and I want to say I ordered the medium but I don't remember if it was medium or large, either way I used the size chart and it was right on point. It's a great basic to have. The fabric is a tad thin, but it is double layered, so it's not see through, at least in black. The material is soft, jersey like, cottony, with stretch. I will say, the fabric thinness means it's really comfortable; however, it didn't have a lot of "hold" or "control" or "strength". When I wear body-hugging skirts or dresses, I like it to have some control on the tummy. So it's just a consideration if your body type isn't too firm. I'm 5'2", 165lbs, size 10/12 and bought a size XL, thinking it would be reduced sizing. It was a tad too large and I would have been good with an L (maybe the L would feel tighter around my tummy and have that hold I want). Since it is 95%cotton, I'll have to see if there's any shrinkage after washes. Read more
