Purchased this for my son. He uses it to stand his long hair up. Yes it works, but it leaves hair hard after reusing it. Downside - has to wash hair every day and its hard to get the product out. I saw this product on a social media ad and looked at different reviews and thought I'd give it a shot. In all fairness, I thought this product was going to be a trash-gimmicky item I wouldn't even bother writing a review for. However, to my surprise, it has absolutely changed how I style my very straight and boring hair. As directed, I get my hair wet (like taking a shower) try until only slightly damp at most, and sprinkle some of this stuff on and it takes a minute or so to style to how I want. Stays up all day, and my hair texture seems a little softer. I've used all sorts of different pastes and my hair never stayed the way I wanted or even styled how I wanted - I no longer have that problem thanks to Tribal Chimp. A repeat buy, fair price.
