TROND Outlet Extender Surge Protector - Multi Plug Wall Outlet with 4 Grounded Sockets 3 Way Angled Plug

I originally owned some older RCA surge protectors years ago. They were too old, big and bulky for the outlets. Then I bought 2 prong surge protectors. When my electrician came by, he immediately told me to get rid of the 2 prong protectors. 3 prongs is essential as it's grounded, not the 2 prong ones. Since I bought some surge protectors for my TVs and computer from TronD back in the summer of last year, I chose to buy these as I trust the company. The build quality is excellent. Feels great in the hand. The look is modern. It has four outlets. Good amount of space to plug the cords in. Installing the cords is tight, but the cords won't come out easily. It functions without problems so far. There is a green light that shows the surge protector is on. These are great for lights, telephones, radios, usb chargers, small fans, small equipment, etc. These aren't for computers, TVs, or anything that requires more power. If you want something for those, buy a larger surge protector. I definitely will buy more in the future. Read more

I like the design of these outlet extenders a lot more as compared to the other ones, where some of the outlets become blocked if you plug in anything with a big bulky power brick at the end. These allow all the ports to remain functional even if you plug in things with those kinds of power bricks. They stay plugged into the outlet well and have never fallen out or had any issues in the months I've had them. Read more

Once to get a strong arm to push the plugs into the sockets it is actually cool. The size is small enough to plug behind a coffee maker. Easy to plug in the grinder nest to the machine and the night light we use as well. This has the built in surge protector and is a a fabulous value as we are familiar with the company. We use a really similar plug on our cruises. Should last a lifetime. Read more
