I purchased this Motor Trend truck cover in 2019 to protect my truck. That’s parked outside in 90°+ weather. At one point the truck was left for over a year parked with this cover on it. Not once did the cover ever blow off. The cover is lightweight and breathable, and did exactly what it said it was going to do. As it started to age, it had a little tiny tear towards the back tailgate, which was expected after five years. I like the cover so much. I bought another one, and I will continue to buy this brand. Why? They’re lightweight, easy to put on, they stay put even in strong wind, keeps your interior breathable, protect from rain and sun damage and for a very affordable price. I also bought the Motor Trend seat covers at the same time and still have them on my seats in my truck. They are faded from a lot of use in the sun, but no rips no tears and when those seat covers wear out I’m going to buy the Motor Trend seat covers again. The cover seems to be good quality and a soft and durable material. The cover was to fit my 2014 Chevy Silverado 1500 crew-cab - the cover is both long enough for the entire truck - probably about a foot too long and is about 6 to 8 inches longer than the cab portion of the truck. As is, the lines and fit don't look the best. The only other issue is the antenna - you have to create a hole for the antenna - this is very difficult to get right because the cover doesn't fit perfectly. Just turned out to be a good cover for my truck. I drive a Nissan Frontier King cab with the largest cargo. Unfortunately I wasn't able to keep it because we had no place to store it. Material seems good against rain as well. Read more
Readers; My GMC normally lives in garage. But, events have occurred, and now he sleeps out side in the weather. So, I bethought a cover would be in order. I did a flock of looking, and a lot of reading of reviews, and settled on this one, and ordered it. It came in good time. OK, I have it, does it fit? And, Yes, Virginia, it does fit, and that very well. Its made to the general shape of the truck, rather than a 'parachute style', which makes both getting it on, and knowing which is front and back, much easier. I used it one night, unwrapped the truck to use the truck, and tucked the cover next to the garage. I came home, and the wind had carried it away to parts unknown. So, it was good enow to buy Once, and ave ordered a new one to replace it. This one will be tossed in the truck bed when its not being used! Read more
It seemed ok...at first. It took me a time or two, but I got pretty good at putting it on by myself (5'4").. But, it didn't take long for it to start to leak into the bed (a month or so). Then, after about 8 months, it started degrading and leaving specks of it all over the truck... Now searching for one that might last. Couldn't find any info on warranty. Read more
The cover is large but fits my truck very well...wish it had side mirror pockets but it did include a grommet for the antenna on top of the cab center. No clue about being weather/water resistant as i have not used the cover outside as of yet. It appears to be well made and worth the money! Read more
I don't know about how long it will last, but as for the quality & fitment it fit my 2017 Chevy Silverado HD crew cab good even with aftermarket bumpers. as for quality it seems to be made very good. Read more
