Liking it over the other plasma lighters so far. The four prongs retract so it clears any debris that might be bridging the contacts and cause the plasma to fail. Plastic design feels higher quality. Still need to test battery life. Read more

I use this lighter to light my gas stove, charcoal barbecue, candles, lanterns, porch candles, gopher bombs, and fireworks, and even the fire pit, (with the help of some PB Blaster as an accelerant, or newspaper, ) but when you touch the lighter to the side of a piece of wood it will ignite. These plasma arcs can reach 2,000°. So it's very clear why it's able to ignite materials. No refilling with butane, just plug it into a USB-C charger, and it charges right up. This lighter has a built-in white LED light to see where you are pointing the stick lighter, and the light can also be activated without activating the lighter. Just not having to hassle with refilling my lighter with butane was the big plus. Guaranteed that this lighter will replace a butane stick lighter. I have tested this lighter on many different things and it has always performed just as well as a flame lighter would perform. Read more
