I was looking around for underspins and I saw this, it may be small but don’t let its size fool you, this things drawing power is crazy, and small/big fish alike want to eat it! Cast-ability: 5/5 Good weight and minimal drag in the air, casted on medium/fast rod. Sinking rate: Fast. You want to keep rod top high and retrieve speed moderate to have the bait swim in upper water column so the bass can see it. You can add additional action to mimic a dying baitfish. Durability: 3.5/5 I’ve caught 5 fish on it, 3 of them being lunkers. The part near the hook is tearing a little bit but it still has a lot of life and action left. Action: 5/5 Bait paddles fast and the shimmer is great! The small profile doesn’t scare smaller fish away. So you’ll never get skunked. Drawing power: 5/5 As you know, this is the ability to attract fish over a large distance. Since this bait so much action and visibility for its size, it’s naturally going to catch fish, even if you miss the grass line, bed or school. Pricing 5/5 These lures are surprisingly high quality. The hardware, blade and hook are top notch. But do keep in mind they're disposable and won't last forever. I wish they provide duplicates of important colors like gold and green pumpkins, rather than an assortment where I'm not going to use half of them because of the wrong conditions. Overall, this thing is irresistible to fish that are actively hunting and feeding. It’s not a finesse technique, so after the spawn season dies down, so will this lure. But if you know the fish are feeding, you’re going to have a hell of a good time. Read more
Just received them. They look good, well built. Looking forward to using them. Read more
These lures swim very naturally in the water and hold up after multiple strikes. Hooks are sharp and well-made. The set comes with different colors and weights that work in both fresh and saltwater. Slightly heavy for ultralight gear, but excellent overall. Read more
Can you please sell these for $10 a pack? Best pre-riggers ever made. Discovered these by accident and had no idea what I was missing. That said around 15 bucks a pack is a bit unreasonable.... And has led me to buy and try many other swimbaitss available on prime. The tail flutter and side to side roll is unmatched with these things, you can feel them on your line just dancing along perfectly. These are very soft, but so lifelike and real feeling in your fingers. They get destroyed easily but that is part of the reason you can catch fish so easily and in numbers with these things. Super glue works wonders. Ive kept these things going much longer than they should last by gluing them back. Even when your tail is gone you can still jig and hop these along bottom and get fish, I don't throw them out when tail gets bitten off. There are days where they actually work better twitching tail-less on the bottom. On a 6.5-7ft medium light or medium spinning rod 8-10lb braid on a 2000-3000 sized reel with a 10lb fluro leader they fish like a dream with the little 2.8in ones I like the best. I've caught bass, striper, white and yellow perch, crappie, flounder, pickerel, gar, red drum, spec trout, catfish, bluegill and prob some thing I'm forgetting with these baits. A 27in red drum will pick up this 2.8in size finesse swim bait, on the real. Dinky bass and fatty bass, all fish love these little sized geys. In cleaner water use the more natural colors. Read more
