I got these used at a discount from Amazon. Man, did I get a deal. These are awesome snow & cold-weather pants. Comfortable, warm and great looking. They fit true to size, these are not baggy styled snow pants, they fit me great. The design, color, materials, construction and overall value are in-line with what I’ve come to expect from CQR. Winter isn't quite here yet but I'm not one to stay indoors when it does arrive. It's relatively chilly at this time of year here and these do as they say on the packet. I've been out a couple of times in them and it's been quite windy and rainy. They do protect well against wind and although not torrential downpour it's enough to see they will repel water to a certain degree. If it's belting down I would almost certainly wear covers over them but I was dry when I got back indoors. The pants are very sturdy and fit me comfortably. Nice style, stretch and reinforced in the right places. Good pockets which have a fleecy material inside so nice to warm your hands. The only down side would be if you put a lot of stuff your pockets I could see they could wear out in time but I don't do that. These pants are so incredibly comfortable and so warm. Your legs will stay so warm, even if you are outside for many hours. The fleece lining is amazing. They are really flexible as well and the added knee pad protection is awesome. Pockets have zips to secure items and even being in the snow for long periods, you’ll remain dry. I really like the fit of these pants, the fact that I can squat down back up without them feeling so tight that I can’t move is beyond what I could have asked for. Length is perfect. The do run about a half a size smaller than planned is okay. Have already ordered 2 more and really hope they stand up to the cold. A top quality item at a more than reasonable price. High quality stitching and materials. Comfortable to wear and very warm. I typically wear a base layer and it fits underneath quite well, no binding. Can recommend this product as an inexpensive alternative to name brand cold weather gear. I got these for late fall and early spring fishing. The first time I wore them it was in the 20s and I was warm as toast. I just wore longjohns under them. Great for bringing the net onto your lap to unhook fish without getting your knees wet. I haven't had them too long so I can't comment on durability but they seem very well made. They were confortable, breathable and the zippemed pockets are great to keep things from falling out while climbing. The zippers were thin and the stitches are thin but for the price they do their job. They are meant for day activities but I would not recommend using them for Alpine expeditions. They are moderately warm for low altitude activities. Read more
