This stuff is a life saver! Amazing! Buy the gun it helps a lot. My daughter is a softball pitcher and has zombie foot. We go through cleats after a few weeks. I wish I had known about this years ago! Would have saved so much $$$$$$ first pair I did really thick. It holds up really well so you don’t have to mound it in like I did. The installation was tricky without the gun style applicator. Once it was on my daughter’s pitching shoe, it worked for about a month. After that, it started to loosen from the shoe. Over the next month, it basically tore off the shoe completely. Perhaps I put too much on. If I had more applicator needles, I would try again. Read more

I spent years replacing my daughters pitching cleats, she would wear out the toe quickly, even the high end pitching cleats. Someone recommended Tuff Toe and I will never not use it again. Since adding to her cleat we have not had to replace because of the toe being ripped out but the metal spike being worn down. This stuff might be bullet proof. The new TT v2 makes it much easier to apply and save the unused portion for another time. Read more

Update: it last pretty well on a softball pitcher’s cleat BUT, I probably won’t buy it again This product seems to adhere to the shoe well. I will update this post after my daughter, a softball pitcher, uses these cleats in a game. She drags her toe so much that she wears through cleats in just a few games. I have high hopes. This stuff looks pretty sturdy. The reason for the three stars is, I could not, for the life of me, get the base layer to flow easily from the nozzle. I watched the application video, twice, before I started. I made sure to do everything as it said because I wanted to give this stuff the best shot at working. I attached the mixer nozzle, squeezed a little out to make sure both sides were working and tried to start applying to the shoe. It would not come out. I pushed on that little plastic slider so hard, I was bending it, yet still no product. It flowed so well and quickly all the way to the end of the nozzle and then, boom, just stopped. Eventually I gave up and just applied the top layer directly to the shoe. I ended up going through all four nozzles provided in the kit which stinks because I have nothing left to use it again. I was using a brand new pair of cleats so I needed to put something on there after I sanded off the shiny surface. Read more

This worked. It was a little tricky getting it on there. There was concern it wasn't correct, but it was. They stayed on the shoe and kept the shoe from getting a lovely pitcher's hole in the toe. Which is great, it means she can use the same cleats next year. Read more
