I hate this show coat, and I never even had to wear it. It was a first show coat for my daughter, who also hated it because the collar and lapel would never stay flat. The material tends to pull and pick up everything- especially horse hair, which is less than ideal. Also, the rear center seam (running along the spine) of ours was crooked at the nape of the neck so the shoulders were off and the jacket always appeared to be pulling. The only positives were the pockets 2 exterior and 1 interior), which are a nice and functional feature. There are way better starter show coats (which I’ve fortunately found) for equal or lesser prices. I wish I would have know about them. It would have saved the annoyance.
