Excellent quality. If the suits are packed correctly, they come out unwrinkled even after long flights. Many compartments to use for other stuff as well. Read more
I had a tri-fold which was 20 years old and stitching gave away but i decided to replace it with the new tri-fold. Tumi has lost the original vision which commanded quality in the detail, justifying the high price. Plastic replacing metals on strap fixtures - really for $750, no more. I had a lot of TUMI luggage that is of the same vintage and has stood up well - garmet bags, totes, leather garment bags, roll-ons. Replacing the tri-fold was very disappointing for where they cut corners on cost over quality which the customer is paying for. I am so glad i selected a replacement Briggs and Riley back pack where quality in my opinion has surpassed Tumi, proven by the same test of time with improvements instead of cuts in quality. If they had a tri-fold i would have returned this in an instant. Read more

Just well designed over many years/revisions I'm sure and plenty of money available for research and refinement... Read more
