Beautiful soft ladies robes! … The measurements advertised for kids’ robes online were so small that I was concerned that they would be too small for my 13 year old granddaughter, so I ordered this small ladies robe for her. It was PERFECT! I had the robe monogramed and my daughter (ladies size 6-8) loved it so much that I ordered one for her too! The gentleman who monogrammed the robes really liked them too, so he ordered one for his wife as well! I needed a waffle robe to wear out of the shower which wouldn't make me too hot, so this is fine for that. I also wanted one in a nice color, as most are white or black. This blue is a vivid, beautiful sky blue, so I'm very happy with that. The only thing less than perfect is the sewing of the belt, which was done with the raw edges sticking out through the edge stitching, so I have to take a very sharp sewing scissors to tri the threads and edge fabric so it won't show past the sewn and folded edges. Kind of tedious, and I wish I didn't have to do that, but it keeps shredding and looks raggedy. Also, the belt loops are seemingly double sized, as though they meant to have two at different heights, as most robes have that are unisex, one loop for a higher waitline for most women, and the lower loop for men. The loops is huge and I may tack it to keep it from being this giant open loops that catches door levers as I walk by. Other than those things, it's a nice robe, fairly true to size. I have a large bust (47") and the XXL is big enough, but not oversized in the overlap. It's enough, though. I'll try not to shrink it, but it has polyester in it, so it'll probably be okay. Good price, nice color, will serve my purpose. Not a deluxe robe, but it's fine. A better quality robe only came in white, so I'm pleased with this. Read more
It’s perfect, just what I was looking for. This robe has a nice soft feel, not Minky conture, but is very comfortable. I am 72, 120 lbs and 5’6” with a slender build. I originally bought the “One Size” but it was WAY too big so returned for the S/M, which fits me just how I wanted with three-quarter inch sleeves and length that hits just above mid calf. The material is very light weight, which is perfect as a summer robe to wear around the house (I live in Utah). If you want a robe you can put on after a shower to dry off, this may not be the robe for you, it’s not a soak-it-up bath towel robe. I like that the belt has loops and can be removed for washing and the pockets are a nice bonus. The soft pink color is very pretty as well. I would buy it again. Read more
I ordered 5 of these robes because of the great reviews. Got one for myself, and four to give as Christmas presents. I washed mine and started using it immediately. I put this on after drying off from my shower. I wear it while im doing my hair and make up, prior to dressing. I wish it was softer and felt better against my skin. It seems to be sewn well, but that lack of cozy softness I was hoping for from this poly/cotton blend just isn't there. I am still going to give the other four I purchased as gifts for Christmas because the price was very reasonable, and I consider these to be a little extra something and not main gift. If this was the only gift I was giving to the recipient, I'd return and buy something that is a better quality fabric. But I'm not excited to give these. Read more
