Tushy Wave works very well. It cleans front and back, so to speak. Installation is simple using the provided template. We like the comfort of the new seat and the water pressure adjustment control. Also the seat can be removed from the mount for easier cleaning. The only caveat is that one needs to move the control knob slowly. If one puts the knob all the way on, a geyser erupts. This is the first bidet I have purchased. If you have ever replaced your own shower head you have the skills to install this seat. I wanted a warm water bidet but found after some use that the cold water setting was perfectly comfortable and if I purchased a similar product for another bathroom I would go for the cheaper cold water only model. Obviously your preferences may be vary. We did have an issue. I am a large man more than 6'6" feet and near 300lbs. When I sit on the bidet, my weight presses down on the mechanism and the wands have trouble fully extending which causes water to spray out from under the seat onto the floor. The only way to solve this is for me to lean forward or lift myself off the seat fully until the wands extend. Which is not ideal. This is not an issue for my wife who is less than half my size. Why the five star review, I reached out to Tushy customer service and they were top notch. No run around no BS, simply sorry our product doesn't work for you and what can we do to help. FUNNIEST DARNED MANUAL in PRINT!! Read the whole thing--great job by their team. While entertaining you, it also gave clear instructions on how to install it. It took me about 30 minutes but it wasn't hard. I just had a hard time getting it to sit right on my elongated bowl, and I was pleasantly surprised that there were NO water leaks at all anywhere, and that the water pressure is excellent. I didn't care about heated water--I live in Louisiana, but if you live up north that might be less than desirable in winter. I love that this doesn't require electricity because there's no outlet nearby, and I love how compact and sleek it is. One thing that was a dealbreaker for me, though, is the hollow seat with very narrow front. When properly positioned, it doesn't cover the entire rim. The sides are also too narrow for my liking and there is "play" in the seat if you lean left or right, which makes me think that the bracket with its short plastic guides will break too easily. Sad that they also skimped by making the seat HOLLOW with lots of nooks and crannies to clean. (WHY?) A solid plastic seat would have been so much sturdier and easier to clean. And the expense made it a big nope from me. I'm returning it and hoping I can get a refund. Again, the water pressure is GREAT but the price is too high for something I don't foresee lasting very long in my particular household. Read more
Ordered seat on 18 May 2025 after a month long surf trip to Indonesia where several locations had similar seats in their baths. My 1st order was lost by the USPS. Amazon refunded my purchase 2 weeks later and I ordered a 2nd seat. It was delivered in a few days followed by the 1st seat a few days later, which I sent back to Amazon. I should have kept it! I am a male and I installed it on the toilet in what my wife calls “my” bathroom, which has an elongated toilet. Installation was a breeze but, full disclosure, I have degrees in engineering, physics and mathematics and my hobby is doing handyman projects around the house. Even so, instructions were clear and humorous. We had a (large) guest stay with us who was going to use my bathroom, so I moved the bidet seat to my wife’s bathroom in the master bedroom. That was a mistake because, even though she laughed at me when I first bought it, she now won’t let me take it back. I laugh at the reviews that state the water pressure is low! My one issue with the seat is that if you turn on the water pressure too far too quickly, you could rip yourself a new one - really! Those with low pressure likely have a valve or supply line with issues. Also, if your seat won’t stay up, make sure your tank cover is positioned all the way back and, if it is, move the toilet seat forward in small increments until the seat can remain in the up position. One final note, I was very concerned with the purchase because the bidet seat forces your sitting position to be closer to the front of the toilet, and I tend to hang a bit low, if you know what I mean. I think that with certain toilets, even those that are elongated, I and others could have issues. There also may be toilets where you need to position the seat too far forward to allow the cover and seat to remain in the up position and still be usable - at least for certain fellows. Been using this bidet for about 5 months now. Nothing but problems from the cheap build quality and materials. The anti-slam seat hinge constantly comes detached. The plastic seat must've warped because the bidet nozzles don't function as intended. They are getting hung up on the plastic seat. You have to lift the seat to get them to retract. I purchased this bidet because of the design and functionality. I have owned bidet attachments in the past, and this design addresses the cleaning and maintenance issues I've had with others. As a 200 lb male, I don't believe my weight had an affect on this product. I also clean this thing top and bottom every week. For the price, I expected some longevity from this product.
