This owl is soft and pretty but came with a misshapen beak. I ordered this and Owlette (basically the same owl in slightly different colors) and Percy looked better so we are keeping that one. I also preferred the more rose-gold toned beak and feet on Percy to the brighter yellow on Owlette. On both owls, it takes some fluffing up to make them look nice — the long fluffy fur/“feathers” was sewn down along seams and we took some time to work it out and help it look it’s best. What bothers me most about both owls is the actual glitter! Honestly, I am writing this review mostly to let other people know because I’m shocked that I didn’t see other reviews mentioning this. The feet and the big have actual glitter all over them and, yes, *it does come off!* My son woke with glitter on his face and clothes after his nap yesterday and this morning after sleeping with the owl in his bed. If you love all things glitter, this owl is for you! If it bothers you to have glitter all over the place, you should take this into consideration. My other son has an older Beanie Boos owl and they used a soft fabric with holographic printing on it to achieve the sparkly effect on its feet and beak. I *much* preferred this — it’s softer too and just makes a lot more sense to me. And, cute toy but I wanted to share my concerns in case it’s a help to anyone else. Read more
