This kit is a small two part epoxy resin double barrel plunger tube, you squirt out even amounts mix them & patch whatever needs it, it's a better solution for fiberglass repair than bondo & should last longer, it's a sticky putty consistency so working it requires rubber gloves, popsicle sticks & patients, this is good stuff & worth the trouble. The product is easy to mix and apply. Works well even for deep cracks, and suitable for enamel, fiberglass, acrylic, and ceramic surfaces. The product has excellent adhesion, and sands well. I received this kit through Vine and tested it on both a small chip on my paddleboard. It worked for both. Highlights Versatile. Works on fiberglass, acrylic, porcelain—great to have on hand. Good consistency. Not runny, easy to apply exactly where needed. Finishes cleanly. Sanding and polishing bring it to a smooth, glossy finish. Things to Note Color tinting takes trial and error. Expect to mix a few batches if matching a unique shade. Not for structural repairs. This is for cosmetic fixes only. Works well on fiberglass sailboat
This 5200 fiberglass repair kit worked really well for several chips on my sailboat. I was worried about possible leaking from rains in the winter, and this did the job well. It's a bit tricky to get just right, but it definitely sealed the fiberglass chips I was worried about. I would recommend to other boat owners. Read more
