Will hold the weight of the camera.
Will not hold on the glass. Worked for one day. Suction cup would not hold up for about a minute ans when attached to the camera it fell off. I cleaned the windshield, and event tried put moisture on the suction cup. Nothing worked. RRTURNED! Read more

Tedious return
Bought this for my Type S AI camera and it did not work. It was no where near compatible. I wish they would have been more descriptive with their product and provided a picture of the exact dashcams they are compatible to. On top of that, the return process isn’t even worth it. I should have just sold it on FB market. The item itself is $9.99 plus shipping $10, if you return it, you will only be getting back $9.99 minus the $1 to get a mailing label (if you don’t have a printer, you have to do this option). Super tedious return. Did I mention that the box was damaged and it looks like it was used because I saw finger prints on the suction cup. Definitely will be looking for another brand dashcam because the one I have doesn’t have any mounting attachments available. Read more

Does Not Work With Type S T401 Model
The mechanism works well as far as mounting your camera goes. However, if you have a Type S T401 dash cam, it is not compatible with this model (hence the lower rating). Read more
