I found this wallet after purchasing but ultimately rejecting the more popular typecase model "Tactical Wallet for Men Card Holder... 10 Card Slots, ID Window, Money Clip". The practicality of certain design choices turned me off, but this one makes up for it in two big ways. The pop-up container is very nice, functions smoothly, and holds 7 cards—unlike the other typecase model the pop-up slot isn't blocked by the extra card flap so this was a big win in my book to be able to reveal the cards with one hand. The other aspect of this model that's superior is the extra flap—the way it connects to the main wallet is a lot more "stable" than the narrow side floppy leather hinge of the other model. The action of flipping the flap over to reveal the ID slot is very nice, can be done with one hand and the openings and thumb assist window are all perfect for easy removal. The flip side is also better because it only holds one extra card—you might think having two slots like the other model would be better, but good luck getting out the rear card without a serious two-handed struggle. I'm a little sad that the color options for this isn't as varied as the other model, but this one is better designed and deserves more kudos. Read more

It holds more cards than the expensive brands I've used. The money clip does its job better as well. I like that it has a place for your ID card. It's not as ergonomic as I would like. Using it with both hands and in both directions is not super easy. Read more

Construction is good. Feels good in the hand and pocket. I wouldn't use it if you only have 2 or 3 cards to put in it. I would get a smaller one. The magnetic flip cover is really nice actually. Works really well. The mechanism seems to miss if ther are too few cards on it. Also DO NOT put your cards in chip first. I did by accident and the mechanism got jammed and scratched one of the chips. Now the card doesn't work, chip or tap, nothing. Ordering a new card. Overall decent product. Read more
