Perhaps I got tubes that were past their sell by date, but each time I used them I tasted what seemed like expired chemical. The taste remained on my lips and went down my throat. The product was difficult to dispense at first. While I liked the look of this product on, and was able to combine it with other lip products to add color (purchased plain gloss), and I did find it is better to add the color to the top of this product, I had a reaction to it (I know it was this and not the lip colors used).
