U by Kotex Panty Liners Clean Secure Light Absorbency Extra Coverage 80 Count Packaging May Vary

Ladies...let's get down to the nitty and gritty of this product! I have a prolapsed bladder, I do not use these for periods since I am beyond that stage of my life. I have searched for a long enough, thin liner that would work for some occasional leaks without the bulk of any gel in them. I have bought so many pads that claimed to be unscented but they had something in them (such as actifresh yuck). Many claim to be thin and long but any of them that claim to be thin are not. Anytime a pad has that gel stuff in them has some heft to it and are not thin and comfortable. Some claim to be long, but almost all of them aren't. These are 7" long, 8" would be better, but I have not found anything like these any longer than 7". Let's face it, we have to position a liner a little more towards the front when dealing with bladder leakage because....well, that's the path it wants to go :) So even with the body shape these are made with there is some wiggle room so that they will work. Hopefully someday a designer of pads and liners will listen to the customers and what they need. Until then I am happy to find these on Amazon and they feel comfortable for me and what I need them for. My Granddaughter told me about them, but of course she uses them for a different purpose :) To be clear, they are padded a little, but not too much and they are thicker than just a thin thin liner, but not "heavy" such as a regular pad would be and they have no scent of any kind and no icky gel. I only use one brand of panty liners, Always. I thought I was stocked out but noticed I was running really low. I was placing a Prime Pantry order and the only panty liners size wise that came back where these. I figured they would hold me through until I was able to get to the store and buy my favorite brand. I have never liked another brand. I guess I just got used to Always and did not want to switch. I must say these are great! For the amount you get, they are a wonderful price! They are soft, they stay in place, and they also stick well. I have not had any irritations from them. With other brands I noticed I could feel them through my clothing and they would move with me, the other way. These are just like the Always ones and stay in place and move with you. Not a fan. I used to use Kotex Light day, so I found them on Amazon, when I ran out of Always panti-liners. After using the Kotex U for a couple of days, I noticed irritation and then remembered how Carefree once did the same thing. I didn't want to compare this product with Care free, but that is what it reminds me of. Kotex is normally a decent product, but my favorite is Always. This might be a good price, but I can't stand this product. On the box it says extra coverage, but they are so thin, like wearing a piece of abrasive cardboard in my underwear. Most uncomfortable, I also notice how the adhesion doesn't stick well. All around I would never buy these again. I am stuck with them, so I will cautiously use them, but I will be sticking to my favorite, which is Always brand panti-liners for no abrasiveness. Read more
