These things work great. Easy to set up, easy to connect to Alexa. I really like the fact that the brightness can be set from 1% to 100% in 1% increments. I love the color control. Got a 4-pack of these, 4 months ago, and just installed my second one. Took about a half hour to delete the old non-working bulb, find the new app in my phone, put the app back on the home screen, accept terms and conditions, add the bulb, pair with Alexa, review its performance, and then try to remember all of the routines I set up 3 years ago and how to reprogram the new bulb back in to where it got deleted. I have mostly color bulbs, but needed a brighter one so that we can see to read and stuff! This does good as a 100 watt equivalent. It has a range of white colors and is dimmable with Alexa. Yes, after installing about 3 different 3-party apps, here I am with yet another 3rd-party app (brmesh) in order to operate this new bulb. I did have it on my phone. I don't know why it wasn't on the home screen. So, the problem is that, if the bulb stops working as my last bulb did, any routines I have saved automatically delete that bulb, and you have to go through each routine and set it up again, hoping that you can remember each and every parameter and where it goes in the programmed routine. Too bad we can't save the program off to a file that we could refer to. Read more

I had bought a brand of smart lights that I simply could not get to work in my house and saw that these were on sale, with reviews saying they were easy to connect. Having wasted more than an hour trying to set the other lights to connect (I returned them), these connected in about a minute. You simply put them in, turn on the power, and then say "Alexa, find devices" to an Alexa speaker. That's it! Alexa told me it had found 4 lights. I then went into Alexa, saw the lights as newly installed devices, and checked the lights, and they gave the name "couch lights" (they fit 2 each into lights next to a couch). I can then turn them on or off by voice and also give Alexa the time of day I want them turned on or off. You can adjust the intensity of the lights by voice along with their color (5 shades of white - warm white to cool white). Great lights that are SO easy to install. Highly recommended!! Read more

I bought these because they were recommended by Alexa to work with the Alexa devices. They were very difficult to pair and I had to use an old dot to pair them at all. They’re connectivity seems to be on and off and they are very slow to respond to Alexa commands do not recommend. Read more

I bought these as they will work with Alexa. I was able to set it up no problem. I used Alexa to turn them on and off. Today I lost power and both lights were off when power went out. The power came back on and then out again. What I found interesting was when the power came on so did the lights. So if I was away from my home for extended periods then the lights would have stayed on and I would not know. So I had to try and program them to work again with Alexa and no luck. I tried everything and should could not find the device. I am not sure why they worked and no won't. I removed them from the app and tried to reset and add them and no luck. Luckily I did reach out to Amazon and they were able to assist me in returning them as it was past the 30 days. Read more
