I have to be honest that I was slightly disappointed with this bag. It bills itself as a structured bag with a hard bottom, and that is only technically true. The corduroy material is thick but the bottom insert is flimsy, to the point that it will not stand on it's own with nothing in it because the weight of the material causes it to collapse. This is especially annoying because the insert is not removable. This limits the ability to machine wash without the benefit of a true sturdy bottom. I have heavy duty grocery bags that have a significantly more stable insert. I also wish that it came with a zipper or at least a snap to keep it closed. It advertises as being about to fit a 16 inch laptop; mine in its laptop bag is bigger than that and while it does fit, it compromises the ability to put a water bottle (or anything really) in one of the outside pockets. It would definitely fit a 15 inch perfectly though, or a 16 inch in a very fitted neoprene type protector. I feel like the inside compartments are pretty flimsy, as you can see in the photos. So I tested it out using it as a basic tote and didn't bother putting anything inside the lining. I put my laptop and its bag, a notebook, my keys, and a water bottle and there was room left over for my phone and probably a few other small items. The straps aren't really reinforced enough for all that weight though, so it would hurt your shoulders pretty fast. I think to put any reasonable amount of weight you have to use the included cross-body strap, which is also not the most comfortable. The black color is not a deep black, but more of that faded black you'd expect with corduroy. I am not a fan of branding and if you aren't either, it was very easy to remove the label with a seam cutter with no damage to the material. The corduroy is very forgiving and doesn't show any punctures. I've included some pictures packed and unpacked so you can better gauge how roomy it is. I think overall it's a decent bag, but I think for the quality it is is overpriced. I probably wouldn't repurchase at the asking price of $24.99. I think it's more of a $16.99 to $18.99 quality, but it is possible the price increase is due to the current tariffs. I think if they added snaps or a zipper and thicker more comfortable straps, it would be a much better bag. Read more
