Ueteto Mechanical Metronome Black Loud Sound Piano Drum Violin Guitar

I have played guitar for 45 years but never had a metronome. LOL But now that I am playing in public, I wanted to make sure I was keeping a steady beat. This is a great little metronome. Easy to operate and works great. I did not like the bell sound and found that if I push the upper lever on the lower right side all the way in, it stops the bell. The media could not be loaded. It's a good metronome, although it's not the best quality. It tries to do its job well. When you remove the safety lock, it doesn't work by itself. You have to push it to one side for it to start working correctly. When you change speeds, you have to do the same. Just for this, I'm going to give it four stars. Watch it in the video. Read more

Many metronome claimed to be loud, but aren't. It's a pain to try and find ome that isn't drowned out by my violin. After my last one gave up the ghost, I came across this one. Perfect price for practicing. It's so loud, it woke my dog up, who was sleeping three floors down and sent her into a fit of barking. It could give the Tell-Tale Heart a vacation as it clacks at 60BPM. Read more

I purchased this because I wanted the visual effect. First off, if you need a metronome you can google "metronome" and bingo you have a free metronome. So now let me get the con's out of the way first. This doesn't keep accurate time (80bpm). I have several digital metronomes that when compared to each other they are all in synch. This thing when set to 80bpm you will hear it deviating from the digital models mid way through the 2nd bar. I tried to find tune it but could never get it to that sweet spot. If I'm trying to train my brain to keep time, or maybe you need good timing so you can post something online. This will not give you the correct timing. Second is the loudness level. Yes this thing is loud as others have stated. I corrected that problem by using a 1/4 x 1/2 piece of the fuzzy side of some adhesive Velcro and sticking it to the sides and back (up & down). This did a great job of reducing the loudness to a more tolerable level. The good is that this metronome looks great, and is easy to operate. The clear cover was a little hard to remove and replace but I just bent the tab down a little and it became much easier. Overall for myself I can't really use this because of the timing issue. The other things were fixable. I might try and open it up and see if there is a fine tuning adjustment, but this is something I shouldn't have to be doing. Read more
